Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
I've been trying to follow the Lavezzi rumors but it seems that Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, Inter, Genoa, Valencia and Napoli are all after him.

Basically the media are doing what they always do, name every team that has ever been linked with him and say they are "interested "

According Di Marzio, Messi pushed for Lavezzi to Barcelona but then CAS dismissed Barcelona's transfer ban appeal ...

Lavezzi and Cavani didn't show up for the pre-New Year training and game WITHOUT giving a reason. Blanc said that, once they arrive, he'll listen to their reason but "we will decide what is good for the club once we hear what they have to say."
In my book, this means that both Cavani and Lavezzi are on the block... which also means that PSG are looking at CF and wing for a couple of players.
Blanc: "We expect them on the 2nd of January. We can't confirm that they are going to depart. We're going to wait for explanations once they arrive here. We will make decisions on the competitive side but also in terms of the club."
It seems like PSG was told that they would arrive on Jan 2 but that Blanc was not happy about it... basically notified the club as opposed to ask them for permission.
They can GTFO tbh.... if Ibra shows up on time for every practice, so can these two clowns. Everyone showed up in fact other than these two. Been recurring for both every since they arrived at the club. Both have been crap too. Silva, Luiz, Lucas, Pastore, Marquinhos, Maxwell, etc. are all from South America too, so that's not an excuse.

Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
Honestly though Nick... both Cavani and Lavezzi have been HUGELY disappointing at PSG. The club is better off selling them and targeting guys who are professional at least.
Cavani makes Torres look clinical and Lavezzi makes Lucas look like Garrincha (although Lucas is very good now).

Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
i don't know sports, what did PSG expect when they signed Lavezzi? he was a good player in Napoli but even two years ago he wasn't good enough to become a long standing starter in a top team. He has been a bit disappointing (plus many many injuries), but i never expected him to become a leader or a dominant player for their offense.
As for Cavani, they messed him up when they started playing him as a winger. Not his fault to be honest, he was a n9, and even to this day he is only playing that role because Ibra is injured. Blanc ruined him, mentally nothing is going for him anymore, and a striker that loses his confidence is worth nothing.
Cavani is going to go to another club that plays him in his natural role and he will be good. he needs a new environment where he starts over and he is trusted as the main guy, not the placebo for the main guy or his delegated water carrier.

Leicester have a £7.8m bid on the table for the HNK Rijeka goalscorer but the player wanted to move to a bigger club.
Juventus have also made a play for Kramaric but only wanted to offer £4.5m plus add-ons. If all is agreed on Monday the player is expected to travel to London on January 5 to have a medical.
Speaking ahead of the proposed move, Rijeka sporting director Ivan Mance told Croatian newspaper Sportske Novosti: ‘I can confirm that our office received a formal offer by London's Chelsea’.
The contract is for four-and-a-half years and the player will initially be paid around £20,000-a-week after tax.
Kramaric, who has scored 28 goals in all competitions this season, has already agreed to join the Premier League leaders.
Daily mail are not always legit, but they've got direct quotes here, I can see this happening.
chelsea fans can't wait to see him pull on that Vitesse shirt for the next 5 years

Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
Shaqiri, here is the offer of Juve, but there are also Inter and Liverpool, the situation
Gianluca Di Marzio

A concrete goal, the first name for the market of Juventus. Xherdan Shaqiri , now there is the offer for Juventus. The club would actually proposed to Bayern Monaco with a loan repurchase obligations (three million immediately, plus twelve payable in three years) bound to some objectives sports team. A formula that does not like the parts of the Allianz Arena. The target for Juventus, however, remains pleasing to the player. For Shaqiri, however, came from proposals also Inter and Liverpool : in particular, the idea of the Nerazzurri would be a loan with an obligation to surrender in June set at 15 million euro; the Reds, however, would point to an outright purchase. A three-way race, Bayern currency. The future of Shaqiri in the game, Juve we hoped, with Inter Milan and Liverpool ready to fit.

Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
I don't know Nick... doesn't say much about Cavani when he's only able to play one type of striker role. Unless he's playing a pure 9 and going straight down the middle, he's basically useless. He also had the opportunity to show his worth for the 10 weeks that Ibra was out to start this season as the sole 9 and he was pretty pathetic.
He's not an elite striker in my book. His technique is outright horrible... he's very clumsy in holdup and linkup plays.
In any case, he needs to move on. Doesn't have the technical skills to be at a top club however.
Regarding Lavezzi... he spends too much time partying. He's got a big night life rep in Paris. When you get injured a ton, you would think that you'd work on your body and SLEEP. Sleeping is the best way for your body to heal, believe it or not. Drinking alcohol and staying up are stupid given his issues (and generally tbh). Not impressed by his professionalis

Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
Not saying Cavan covered himself in glory at PSG, he also has limitations as you mentioned but he is a great striker and a great finisher, maybe not world class but he can bowl. When he moves and has another club that values him, we will have a better appreciation for him again.
As for Motta being benched
he is struggling, but he aint going to be benched just like that, all the bosses in the locker room will rip blanc apart if he tries to bench him in a big game. not that it would change anything, since the guy is gonna get the sack in the summer anyway

Apparently it was a lie that he was ever bought by MLS, and he's been signed with Manchester city this whole time. So he hasn't had a loan extended at all
What a disgusting situation this is. This **** makes my blood boil.
Screw Man City's blue corporate ooze branding project. Screw NYC Farm Club, and SCREW don garber for selling USAs largest, most valuable market needlessly to this scummy organization

heard NYC fans are very angry over this as well. They paid money expecting to see lampard play for them and this shit is what they get. Effing disgrace it is really.
and lampard, what a fraud. But then may be he is getting revenge on mourin due to shoving him out and thats why he is staying.
