Let's not get carried away. For this trio to be great , it's also down to the tactics. Henry-Eto'o-Messi would be hard to beat imo. Best trio i've seen.

Unfortunately using more complicated methods than "> or <" is too difficult.

Anyway Barca's attack is devastating on paper but we'll see how they can make it fit. I don't think it will be smooth sailing from the start.

Please name 5 matches in which both Messi and Neymar excelled playing side by side... I doubt Suárez will fix that either.

great attacks are just as much (if not sometimes more) about complementarity as talent. The problem i see with these 3 is that they all need to play with the ball to be effective... that's how they've made their respective reputations. But since they're together, they need to share the ball AND make the appropriate runs without the ball. Also need to make runs where they know they won't get the ball to open space for the others.

I'm not convinced.

Most galactico attacks fail btw. Madrid have very specific experience about this and recent ones too

Ribery/Gotze - Lewandowski - Robben/Muller is pretty insane too, coild easily have a say at being the best as well, and it definitely has better depth than the other two.

I agree, Henry, Messi, Eto'o was the best trio I've seen, Suarez, Messi and Neymar is not a trio, 3 players, are selfish that include a clown, and a player who flopped always in big games.

also Messi in 2009 was much better than Messi today.

i wouldn't credit the eto henry messi trio everything though

they had a prime team at the time, not just the forwards but alves, iniesta, xavi, toure, prime puyol a good pique...

right now we are in a transitional phase but it's pointless to judge when the three haven't played together yet..

Messi/Neymar are more then legit... now we must wait for the powerful suarez to join them.

From putting Iniesta on the left wing and moving Nerman to the right wing just so Fabrecrap can be shoehorned into the lineup to Nerman-Messi-Suarez. Happy days.
