UK to allow driverless cars on public roads

Obviously that won't go mainstream for the time being, but what does everyone think about the possibility of being 'normal'? There are quite few pros and cons with this one.

Would never trust a bot to drive a car for me. Anything could go wrong imo. hmm

The bot will be a better driver than the dodgy ass drivers you come across all the time on the road. How some people got their driving licenses I will never know.

Well it could certainly prevent drunk driving cases but the trouble is that how 'clever' would these cars actually be?

Driverless cars? That's an abomination. I'm German, I will not let anybody else drive my car (which, by the way, has a stick shift), and certainly not some bot!
