Wow... what an incredible experience. Crowd sang their hearts out tonight, I have no voice left at all.

Great seeing play in person... have some tactical comments but I'm sure everyone has more insights from watching on tv. Gotta say that I got none of the issues from recent preseason games... maybe NY just did it better, but the LFC section was in full voice most of the game (bit of a lull on both sides of halftime)...

Sterling's winner was a stunner, shocking call to not let that through. Penalties were also kicked on our end, I got a video of Lucas scoring the winner that I'll post later - happened about fifty feet away from me (I was in the front section). I must say all of our first team players looked excellent though, we're going to be a revelation this year.

And indeed Stev, definitely the best atmosphere in the US games so far. WAY WAY >>> Chicago or Boston.

Was sitting next to a scouser that flew in for a weeklong vacation and wanted to catch a preseason game... season ticket holder flies to NYC to watch a friendly, that's some dedication right there

Forgot to mention... The stadium was probably about 80% LFC fans. Even the Man City fan section behind the opposite goal was about 40-50% red. Embarrassing showing by an embarrassing plastic team. Goes to show how little money can actually buy you, here's hoping City actually have a fan base 20 years from now, because lord knows it doesn't exist yet.

The atmosphere sounded much better for this match than the one against Olympiakos. I don't know if that was due to the fact that I was in the stadium for the other match and just watched this one on tv or not, but the stadium was about half empty in Chicago.

I watched the highlights and Henderson did really well in our second goal, too. That first-time volley pass to Sterling needed some quick thinking and he implemented the pass perfectly.

He pisses me off sometimes. He shows too many moments that he CAN indeed play in the final third, but he doesn't do it on a consistent basis.

Henderson is better in that B2B goal scorer types of players and I think that will be his permanent position.

Yday, the time and again, 'we were getting outnumbered in the box, on quick attack by ManCity' was just so irritating. BR needs to take care of it.

Studge, seems to have taken loss of Suarez onto him too much. He is trying to do everything on his own. He had lost the ball 2-3 times yday even near the middle line. He should try to do what Jovetic is doing, using other players runs, speed so that there is more unpredictability to his game. If he starts involving other players more into the game, even his game will be elivated so much.

I know it is just a friendly, but from his recent interview it seems like he is taking a little more pressure. We will get to see more once EPL starts.

Henderson as a #10 what? Henderson is a perfect box to box player and Coutinho is our perfect #10 already. If he can fix his finishing he could be one of the best #10s in the world. Henderson can be one of the best b2b guys in the world if he sorts out his finishing also, and is the most important player to our team as it is under Rodgers.

So much of what Henderson does on the field goes underappreciated IMO. Without him our team doesn't work as well (though I can see Can doing a similar job with his engine and tenacity, though I think he lacks Henderson's creativity and well-timed runs). He was our most important player last year too (not our best, but our most important).

Also I don't think that Henderson is human. He was everywhere yesterday. He sorts out his composure and he will be a game changed.

Hendo and Can can be a dream midfield. The potential pairing can me excited so much.
