That's ok with me. I care what you think though, what do you think about the ref ending the game 2 seconds before the Getafe player could score?
It did happen though, so what do you think about it?

attacking you personally how? your denying what right in front of you, because you think the stats are in your favor, while in reality the amount of times barca cheated/lucked their ways to wins is very high, from non calls to pens and i don't need stats or gifs to prove that, those things happen in footy, especially for the bigger teams, so your ranting because messi has to be number one, not barca if you cared for your team as a whole, you wouldn't be posting the same gif and weird stats 30 times brah

Again what's there to ignore? When I watched it in the stream it looked like a penalty.M99 wrote:Harmonica wrote:And? Was there any penalties for Madrid in the original list?M99 wrote:
Umm, I watched the match yesterday and Madrid got no penalties. CR scored two from open play.
So you are ignoring Almeria's penalty because Madrid got soft penalties in previous games? OK, I get it now. Great criteria. Totally unbiased.
Then I downloaded the game at 1080@60 and from the replay, it's still a penalty.

The first decision cost Barca 2 points, 1 which they got back. Was that a fair result?Hapless_Hans wrote:Harmonica wrote:Doesn't happen if Barca gets the first penalty they should have gotten.Hapless_Hans wrote:

first decision right instead of wrong puts Barca 1:0 up (assuming they score the pen), second decision right instead of wrong makes it 1:1 (assuming they score the 1 on 1).
So in summary, it is a fair result, no?

Seeing it again, that's not a penalty. Like it was said above, there is as much of a contact as it was last round when Ronaldo dived.

Please argue logically against this relation:chad4401 wrote:attacking you personally how? your denying what right in front of you, because you think the stats are in your favor, while in reality the amount of times barca cheated/lucked their ways to wins is very high, from non calls to pens and i don't need stats or gifs to prove that, those things happen in footy, especially for the bigger teams, so your ranting because messi has to be number one, not barca if you cared for your team as a whole, you wouldn't be posting the same gif and weird stats 30 times brah
Penalties given in Champions League (09-15)
9 Messi
8 Cronaldo
Penalties given in La Liga (09-15)
46 Cronaldo
28 Messi
Iturralde (retired Spanish ref) - "Most Spanish referees are Real Madrid fans"
The disparity of penalties given is huge, and it cannot be explained by tactics, nor rules changes, because only other team is benefiting of them. So what is the logical explanation to this?

Or maybe Ronaldo was just fouled more often than Messi in the box
But ok, I'll give two reasons why I think the disparity is there:
1. Ronaldo is a bigger diver than Messi
2. DMessi is rarely in the box these days

The whistle was precisely at the correct time (94:00), which after players stopped playing. There was no 1on1 in that situation.Hapless_Hans wrote:ref blows the *bleep* whistle 5 seconds early while the Getafe player is through on goal
Further, two completely different level of wrongs doesn't make it right. When Barca gets a penalty in that situation, it changes the whole dynamic of the game because Getafe has to attack rather than defend.

The atleti villarreal game boiling up
0-0 at ht atm
Villarreal shouldve had a penalty. Mandzukic should be red carded but instead former barca legend J Dos Santos gets a yellow for..........simulation
Only one shot on target apiece. So far so good

Villarreal with the grab and go didn't deserve this win. Mandzukic shouldve had a goal but it was dussallowed because Mario did an Alves. Dos Santos winning freekicks at the end through diving, staying true to his roots
Atleti are so predictable, they are worse than Moyes' United when it comes to crossing. Glad Villarreal came prepared and doubled up on their wingers/fullbacks

Pepe is the only first choice CB not to have received a yellow card in La Liga this season. Also has committed only 5 fouls

Not really chocked, Pepe is extremely clean as a defender. He has a very bad incident once every 2 years or something that is all people remember him for. Getafe, Müller WC and step on Messi's hand. But he's never one to make countless FKs and receive cards. That's more Ramos's job, and he gets enough for the whole team.

Re: La Liga 2014/15 Discussion
Arrigo Sacchi, who visited Real Madrid at Valdebebas earlier this week, has claimed that a financial wrangle is holding up Sergio Ramos's new deal at the club, with Florentino Pérez allegedly unwilling to meet the defender's demands.
Sacchi's comments were published this Saturday by La Gazzetta dello Sport, in a piece in which the Italian also describes his former colleague Carlo Ancelotti's work at the Madrid club.
"I spoke to my friend Sergio Ramos at the end of the session. He asked me what I thought about his contract problems. He told me: 'I want to renew my contract, but Florentino is offering me less money. What do you think?'", Sacchi told the Italian paper.
The former Italy coach between 1991 and 1996 told the Spaniard he "must stay" at Real Madrid. He advised the defender to think about Kaká and Andriy Shevchenko, who "were doing well at Milan and left to earn more money, resulting in a decline in their careers".
Sacchi revealed he had also told Ramos that the defender could convince Florentino he would go on to be the "next Paolo Maldini".
A new deal for Ramos at Real has been in negotiation since last season, but is yet to be agreed. Everything points towards the deal being signed at the end of the current campaign.
