Kike Marin is not a french journalist, he is a spanish Internet Bullshit Artist. and be careful of the news because it's coming from a Real sociedad blogger.

So out of the blue that it might be true tho, lol

Cesc will be starting, Hazard will be starting. They also have Oscar and Willian

That doesn't make any sense.

It's Chelsea though. Genuinely can't remember them ever being in a transfer saga.

they just finish every deal within 3-4 days of declaring interest.

No strikers, best CB looking like being sold when we have a CB problems anyway and clueless coach who plays best players out of position or benches them for no reason.

Just a few reasons lol.

All due respect but how good could any players Newcastle sell possibly be at this point? Any players Newcastle stand to lose can probably be replaced decently enough.

The EPL bottom ten is of super poor quality imo. All you have to do is at least guarantee that you finish tenth like you always do.

If you can do that then you can focus on a proper cup run and a chance to win a trophy. That should be the target for next season imo

I don't want to just finish 10th tho lol, accepting mediocrity is not for me.

As for how good could our players be? We are about to sell Debuchy and sold Cabaye in January, because Pardew is an idiot and mismanages everyone don't mean we don't have good players that better teams are not interested in.

I said tenth at least, mostly because the bottom ten in the EPL is garbage.

I know you guys lost Cabaye and will lose Debuchy, that will hurt for sure. However everyone else is replaceable.

FFS man I've seen Wigan dominate the FA cup two years in a row now. Newcastle should make that their priority.

Get an ambitious new manager in and give him some cash to play with without crippling the team. Nothing much just 15M or so.

Probably just got yourselves 4 places higher. Laughing

That's one of the things i'm pissed off about....

I would actually like to watch a AM trio of Cabella-Siem-Ben Arfa regardless of Pardew you can't make that dull.

But Pardew prefers Sissoko on the wing coz Forrest Gump Mad

All i want is ambition and entertainment, that's it but i won't get either.

Oh and Zeal a quote from the board "cups are not a priority because they are not financially worth it".

Yeah....

Well yeah, he's not the only problem though and arguably the deep rooted issue is Ashley and the board.

But short of Ashley going full on Donald Sterling, Pardew is easier to get rid of.

That's a disgrace no doubt, but it's why I am saying that Newcastle should focus on a cup run after tenth is more or less a sure thing which shouldn't be that difficult.

Yeah i know, but Pardew is the boards puppet so he doesn't care either.

It's not a coincidence that since he's been owner we have been past the 3rd or 4th round.

And why do people think Ashley is doing a bad job ?

Remember when Newcastle were a laughing stock sacking 3 managers a season, and buying big name players on big wages, flopping and got relegated ? That model didn't work. Ashley became more sensible and they are a lot more stable now.

Really, people think Newcastle are this sleeping giant (Ala Leeds, Forrest, Villa), but they haven't won a single trophy in HALF A CENTURY now. The expectations that comes with the club is therefore a top8/10 finish. Anything else will be a massive over-achievement.

They are buying soooo many players this summer, showing some true ambition as well. Yea Ashley is an absolute loon of a bloke, a twat, but the business side of things he's managed newcastle very very well for a club of their size.

I don't think it's out of the question Newcastle should be trying for Europa league tho each season, they are a club that should be level with what Spurs are.

I think a new manager would be able to do that, as there squad does have quality in it

and wtf is there youth academy doing?...

Last year, you finished 9th. and you were baffled...

tell me, looking at the squads of the 8 teams that finished above you...which one were you expected to finish above and didn't ??

You had the 9th best squad in the league, and came 9th. An average season, another season of top flight experience added, avoided Europa League, more money coming into the club (long term stability), and manager growing with the team, becoming the 2nd longest serving in the league.

patience man. Arsenal ( a far bigger club) endured almost a decade without trophy, in order to stabilize financially, and build a bigger stadium, and now they are repeating rewards of that stability and sensible management. Unless you're a sugar daddy club, that's the way to grow and Newcastle are on the right track for that.

After this week i'd say we need a CB and a top striker.... i haven't seen any links to a CB even though its clearly an issue.

Striker could be anything, Lacazette was our no 1 target but we were quoted 16m and i ain't heard anything since lol.

But again its down to Pardew using the players correctly.
