Re: Luke Shaw
That's the spirit
My man love for Luke Shaw is growing with each passing week. He is befitting of every quality United look for in a young player.
Now please be fit to start against Arsenal.

Re: Luke Shaw
yea he really has the attitude.
This I think is the 3rd instance where he has rallied the troop. He did that against both CHelski and Chetty.

Re: Luke Shaw
Shaw training with the first team today. It was his hamstring, right? Wouldn't be able to run in training if it was a problem?
Anyway, I don't want to bring false hope, he might still be out , but it's a positive sign I guess.

Re: Luke Shaw
ffs
Hopefully it's in that cast as a precaution.
I knew it was serious as soon as I saw the close ups in the replay, looked nasty.
Why cant we catch a break with injuries to our defenders ffs.

Re: Luke Shaw
rolled ankles are tough to come back from quick, because walking and running in straight lines are easy but soon as you start doing hard turns and moving laterally that is when it becomes weak and u feel the pain
literally rolled my ankle the same way shaw did a month ago playing football with friends and it is just feeling 100% now

That makes sense why he was able to continue for a little bit before coming off

Re: Luke Shaw
Hmm but LvG wont be taking chances. He wasnt fit last match clearly and still played suffering that injury. So it might not be 2 weeks. 3 minimum probably. Ideally returning for the Pool match hence.
And also its going to be 3-5-2 for the next 3 matches. Against Hull its okay. But after that against Stoke and Soton, I am not so sure whether its gonna be a good idea.

Re: Luke Shaw
He was fit last game, van Gaal said “Shaw has come back from internationals not fit enough so we made him fit, but then he gets injured again."
Also, when van Gaal permanently changes the formation, he makes the reserves copy it, they played 4-3-3 yesterday. He might just play Blackett LB, like he did vs Everton.

Re: Luke Shaw
ohh..
yea I will take a 4 man backline formation with Blackett at LB over anything that uses wing backs. More than anything else it gives that undeserving Ashley Young games, even-though he was good last time.

Re: Luke Shaw
Yep, and it's fcking annoying. He went through last season barely without any injuries, comes to Utd and becomes a sicknote. Typical.

Re: Luke Shaw
Kid will receive a mighty welcome and rightfully so. He is our best young prospect, even better than Martial arguably. Need him so bad from next season. Whoever has taken his position has been an eyesore, barring CBJ may be slightly.
