He did not describe in typical GL fashion but he was very much dismissive of the competition. Personally, the competition really isn't a big deal apart from some banter here and there and with Spurs' lofty ambition, they obviously see it the same way. However, to be dismissive of a competition he has not won is quite high and mighty. Pep and Jose can have that attitude, Poch just looks a bit rude.

Especially since it is Spurs whose trophy cabinet is a bit bare at the moment.

I don't know why you guys are so critical of Pochettino only focusing on real trophies. Spurs probably wanted to lose. This way they can focus on getting knocked out of the CL in the round of 16, and coming 3rd in the league.
