Re: El Futuro - Alvaro Morata
He has been very good so far. Our best and most consistent attacking player so far. His game is more about chance creation and hold up play than scoring.
Yesterday he set up Ronaldo with a through ball which ended up in goal. He previously set up an easy chance for Ronaldo which he missed. He looks very complete striker. Fast, great aerial presence, dribbling, chance creation and off the ball movement and pressing. If he can develop his scoring game a bit more then he can be pretty much devastating.

Sounds like Morata. Kind of surprised to hear about the hold up play but I suppose Juventus plays differently than Real in that sense.
I'm not sure if we'll see him out together a 20-25 goal season with Real but if he could, that would be a fantastic return from him. Based on his ability, he can do it. He just needs a great run of games.

he needs to score more, link up dribbling, all that is fine and dandy, but i require strikers to put the ball in the back of the net. if he can contribute with numbers, and the rest of the team stop playing like cheerleaders, we can have something good to look forward to. he needs to give himself a goal number to target. it'll help him cos it will also give him more playing time.

I was going to post something along those lines.
The reason I like Morata is his off the ball movement creates space, and his aerial ability, honestly we don't need to ask much more of him. A clutch goal here and there when the BBC is out of form may be needed but otherwise I can't say we need much more from him.

Re: El Futuro - Alvaro Morata
i always go by numbers with strikers. if we can get more goals coming from somewhere it will help the team tremendously. none of the midfielders are scorers, considering the numbers our rival forwards put up last year, it will help if another person also got on the score sheet; it will also promote competition more than anything. last time we won the league we had 3 players scoring by the bucketload. bale doesn't really put up numbers like that, maybe cos he always gets injured. i hope morata can do a lot more than just 7 or 8 goals. him scoring more will promote competition and maybe light a fire under the front 3, since they're playing like they're bored right now.
oh, also if he never gets a burst of form by getting into the habit of scoring more, he'll forever remain a back up...so for his own growth, he needs to add that to his repertoire.
