Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Well if we have any plans to stay up next season we are going to need many more signings in any case.... if not relegation beckons.
So i'm not bothered if he's the answer or not because if he's the only forward we buy then we deserve relegation.
As for the player himself, he does sound promising from what i read here..... http://inbedwithmaradona.com/journal/2014/4/15/ayoze-rise-of-the-boy-from-mara-jimnez
But as always i would be concerned by any young player being coached by Pardew.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Newcastle are actually getting Ayoze?
That's the element of scouting I want to see from them more often.
Ayoze has been consistently prolific within his means and is the next big Canarian player. Which is refreshing as they need another successful Canarian after Pedro and David Silva.
If I had to describe him; he's similar in the mould of Pato, Vela or Adrian Lopez. Quite a complete skill-set and very level-headed. Cervera had some copious praise for the kid.
Too early for him to explore foreign pastures, especially considering Youth-Killer Pardew won't develop him.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
From what i understand Arq its all been agreed, with usual paperwork stuff to be completed.
As for being too early i kinda agree, which is why there's been talk of us loaning him back to Tenerife for next season.
But it does seem its happening, i agree on your comment on the type of scouting to be done more often.... mainly because its a sign we have acknowledged Spain exists

Dani Alves is PSG's first choice, however the alternative would be Abate, who could be available for around €10m, according to Le Parisien.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
That's fantastic news.
Loaning him back would be intelligent as the acquisition of the signature is the vital component. A more daring or tact manager would integrate him spread thinly through out all competitions yet we cannot expect that from Faildew.
I like Newcastle's scouting as evidenced by the French Connection yet it must scope beyond just France and England. Pardew having a limited perception and rarely scouting himself doesn't help.
As convoluted as the Newcastle project may be, signings like these lay the footwork for the future.
Tenerife have invested much in the development of Ayoze. Hopefully he doesn't out like a Iago Falque, the Galician winger of talent who just could not fit in Spurs or Juve.

They are also interested in Udinese duo Pereyra and Candreva and also Fiorentina's Cuadrado.

He can't be better than Aspas, and Aspas is shit who probably wouldn't get into Newcastle's side.

Marquinhos is impossible since PSG is not allowed to replace him. Better luck with Mathieu.

not to get ahead of myself, but if valencia really don't need the transfer money anymore, good luck with signing mathieu... he's got a release clause in the neighborhood of 20 mil, and he'll most likely be captain for next season

Tuttosport might just be the least reliable paper in the world, I wouldn't give the report too much thought until a more reliable source gives comment on the rumour.

tbh I don't think we are after him, or half of the defenders we are being linked too. Fact that we have practically said that we are after some new defenders to add to the team I think made the people writing the rumors practically go back and link us again to every guy we've been rumored to be after for the past 3 summers. I think the only guys we are honestly looking at are Benatia and Laporte. We were slightly interested in Mathieu, Rami and Marquinhos before, so I think the tabloids linked us to them again, but I don't think thats us. Shit I've even read that we might activate the buy back clause on Fontas which I think is total horse shit lol.
Btw, does anybody know if Musacchio made the Argentinian World Cup squad? That's another guy we have been linked with in the past and I wouldn't be surprised if we signed him up out of nowhere

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Sky Sports understand Newcastle United are in talks to sign Tenerife striker Ayoze Perez, but they are yet to make a new bid for Montpellier midfielder Remy Cabella.
Sources close to the player have told Sky Sports that a deal with Newcastle has all but been completed, and that he will sign a five-year deal with the Tyneside giants.
Perez could be joined at St James' Park by Cabella, but reports that Newcastle have made a new bid for a player they tried to sign in January have been dismissed by the club.
Newcastle sources have confirmed that whilst they remain interested in the 24-year-old, a new official bid has not yet been made.
Newcastle are pursuing a number of targets who they hope to complete early in the window, with Germany Under-21 international Pierre-Michel Lasogga another who they have expressed an interest in.
