In which month will Moyes get sacked?
Re: David Moyes sacked
WhoScored is never wrong. If they say Moyes was only slightly worse than Ferguson then the Glazers should have given him more time ffs.

David Moyes is emerging as a contender to become Tottenham’s next manager but senior figures at the club are divided over his possible appointment following his dismal short reign at Manchester United.

Re: David Moyes sacked
Does anyone actually have any idea what Spurs plan is?
Levy is clearly willing to spend the cash but it increasingly seems like he hasn't got a clue what he's doing if the papers are to be believed...Think he needs to put someone intelligent in charge of football operations and stick to signing checks

Re: David Moyes sacked
I'm all for giving coaches time but you need to have an upward trend in quality of play. United look just as lost in April as they did in August, if not more, that is the determining factor to me. He could have still missed the CL but if they had at least looked like they were adapting to Moyes (or Moyes adapting to United) then it would have made sense to keep him.

Re: David Moyes sacked
Former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen claims David Moyes ignored advice at the start of his career at Old Trafford and believes the Scot underestimated the magnitude of succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson.
Meulensteen, who spent 12 years at United, left the club seven weeks after Moyes' appointment and the Dutchman believes the Scot's decision to make immediate changes "backfired".
"United were a very successful team, with many successful years behind them," Meulensteen told Sirius XM.
"The strategies in place worked. I think David ignored the advice that was given to him by many of the staff in place at the time.
"He opted to put his own plans in place, which he was perfectly entitled to do, but I think it backfired on him.
"It became very evident to me after a few meetings with David Moyes that he wanted to bring in his own people and do it his own way.
"I felt very strongly that things would change dramatically for myself and the position I held so I didn't feel there was a good foundation to carry on, basically."
Meulensteen also feels Moyes failed to judge the scale of the task at United following his 11-year stint in charge of Everton.
"One of the things I did say to him, I tried to warm him: 'Do you realise, after everything at Everton, you're going from a yacht to a cruise liner? That's how big the difference will be'," said Meulensteen.
"It's not just necessarily the work you have to do on the pitch. It's everything that surrounds Manchester United football club, the players, the performances, the pressure, the style, the identity.
"And I think, to be perfectly honest, he underestimated that."

Re: David Moyes sacked
The League Managers Association has announced they have reached a settlement with Manchester United over the sacking of David Moyes.
Moyes was relieved of his duties at Old Trafford on Tuesday less than 11 months after succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson after stories had emerged on the websites of several national newspapers the previous day. The LMA released a statement on Wednesday which criticised the "unprofessional manner" of United sacking of the Scot – a claim that was strongly refuted by the club.
However, a statement on Friday afternoon confirmed that an agreement has now been reached between the two parties.
"The League Managers Association and Manchester United are pleased to confirm that terms of settlement have been agreed between the Club and David Moyes in respect of the termination of his employment," the statement read.
"A settlement agreement is in the process of being finalised. No further comment will be made in relation to this issue."

Re: David Moyes sacked
Loooool what a mess up this was, who would have thought Fergie and MAn U would get it so wrong. The players definitely clearly just werent playing and wanted to get him sacked too.
I still wonder just what exactly were the reasons he got it so wrong after getting so much trust from Fergie, etc.
Seeing Giggs as Man U manager though is quite impressive, what a player and now managing the team...
