Well, izt's Sami's job to make them better. BTW, FC Zürich was the club that really got Lucien Favre's career going, too.

Stefan Effenberg has been appointed coach of 2nd Bundesliga club SC Paderborn on a contract until 2017. In the presser he said: "One is the Special One, the other one is The Normal One, I am the New One." Very Happy

I wonder what the next coach will say. "I am the Chosen One"?

Wow. I'm watching the press conference of Hoffenheim atm (I'm waiting for Dortmund's, and SSNHD broadcast several of these today). They said that they will promote their current U19 coach Julian Nagelsmann as head coach next season after Huub Steven's contract will have run out.. That guy is only 28 years of age and works as coach since 2006 o_O  Very interesting choice!

lol, as if.

In the Championship, Fulham are expected to announce the current Reading boss and ex Liverpool assistant and West Brom manager Clarke as their new manager. Kinda weird sideways move from Clarke, those clubs are the same size, imo, and Reading are doing better in the Championship than Fulham.

Garry Monk: Swansea City board consider manager's future

Would be a bit surprised if they did actually let him go at this point. He's done a superb job with them overall, and I'm not sure who's (realistically) available that would be an improvement.

VfB Stuttgart sacked Alexander Zorniger today. This means VfB Stuttgart are now runners-up in the "coaches wearout ranking" in the Bundesliga.

Number of head coaches used by one BL club - current standings:
1. Schalke 04 - 44 head coaches so far
2. VfB Stuttgart - 43
3. 1.FC Köln - 42

Colin Bell decided to step down as coach of 1.FFC Frankfurt yesterday. The contract was dissolved amicably, although kicker.de claim they got information that there was dissent between Bell and the players.

FFC Frankfurt won the 2015 Women's Champions League, but ended only as 3rd in the 2014/15 Bundesliga season behind Bayern München and VfL Wolfsburg. In the current season, Frankfurt is currently on a somewhat disappointing 4th place behind Bayern, Wolfsburg and SGS Essen.

Colin Bell takes over at Avaldsnes IL who play in the top league of Norway. He is the first Englishman to coach a winning team in any UEFA Champions League for men or women.

1.FFC Frankfurt promoted the former assistant coaches Matt Ross and Kai Rennich to interim coaches. Frankfurt look for a new head coach, but they can also imagine to continue with Ross and Rennich in the future.
