Atletico Madrid are eyeing Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo.
El Mundo Deportivo says Atletico see Negredo as a readymade replacement for Chelsea bound Diego Costa.
Negredo has slipped out of City manager Manuel Pellegrini's starting line-up in recent games, but Atletico will struggle to tempt him back to Madrid.
The former Real Madrid striker moved to City only last summer for €20 million from Sevilla.

Milan will target Levante goalkeeper Keylor Navas in the summer, according to reports this afternoon.
The Costa Rican shot-stopper has been in sensational form for the Spanish side this term, regularly being praised by Coach Joaquin Caparros.
The 27-year-old has let in 38 goals in 34 matches this season for the Valencia outfit, but with his contract set to expire in 2015, several European sides are thought to be interested in his services.
Barcelona have been tentatively linked, as have a few Premier League sides. According to Sport Mediaset Milan therefore, could be forced into a bidding war for Navas.
There are no indications though, as to what price the Liga side will sell for.

Not as hilarious as calling him a "long-term replacement" considering he's 29 at the end of the year.

Wolfsburg defender Naldo still has a year left on his contract, but the club are keen to secure the Brazilian on a deal until 2017. General manager Klaus Allofs told Sport-BILD:
"I want to make a new agreement with Naldo as he is an important player and a regular first-team defender. He is reliable and he is taking on responsibility during matches."

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
The saga of Lionel Messi’s contract renewal with Barcelona is creeping towards an end, reports in Spain have said.
Mundo Deportivo claims the arrival in Spain of Jorge Messi, the player’s father and agent, is a sign that a deal is close, although some details remain unresolved.
The report adds that there were never any serious differences between the Messi camp and the club, only minor ones, and Messi will become the highest-paid player in the world.
But Barca are keen to ensure they get a return for their investment and want part of the contract to be structured depending on the success of the club, which is one of the sticking points.
A further point of contention is whether or not the contract should simply replace Messi’s current deal, which runs until 2018, or extend it by a year to 2019.
Both sides wanted the deal done before the World Cup but with only a handful of games before the end of the season, that is no longer guaranteed.
The death of Tito Vilanova has also caused a delay in proceedings as Barca entered a period of mourning for the former Coach.
But the presence in Spain of Jorge Messi is said to suggest an agreement will be reached soon after President Josep Maria Bartomeu personally intervened to keep negotiations on-track.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Paris St Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he wants to finish his career with the French champions.
The former Inter, Juventus and Milan star has been prolific since signing for the big-spending Ligue 1 side from the Rossoneri in 2012.
“Here I have a good contract that still has two year left to run,” Ibrahimovic is quoted as saying by CalcioNews24.
“Sometimes though I see newspapers or hear rumours saying that I might leave PSG.
“So I want to say clearly that I am very happy here in Paris. I am happy being part of this team and I want to finish my career as a player here at Paris St German.”

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Liverpool’s Luis Suarez says he is happy at the club and distanced himself from speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid.
The Uruguayan has been in prolific form for the Reds this season, prompting strong rumours that Los Blancos’ are set to table a mega-money offer to take him to the Bernabeu.
“I am very happy here and my family is happy here,” Suarez told Uruguayan television station Canal 10.
“Don’t worry, nothing is going to happen to me [in terms of a transfer]. If we could win the Premier League and bring the trophy home it would be incredible.”

Probably because at the time he had rape charges hanging over him and he hadn't proved he could score consistently in the league yet.
Its easier to risks on players when you are a middle of the road team.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Juventus are reportedly close to sealing a move for Lazio’s Bosnian star Senad Lulic, however an agreement has yet to be struck between the two Serie A sides.
It is being reported that Lulic has already agreed to terms with the Bianconeri for around €2.5 million per season but the issue remains the difference in the valuation of the player from both clubs; Lazio value him at €18 million whereas Juventus are only prepared to offer around €10 million.
A compromise could be made in the form of a player exchange between the clubs according to Il Messaggero. Claudio Lotito is said to be interested in bringing Mauricio Isla, who is currently co-owned by Udinese and the Bianconeri, or defender Angelo Ogbonna as part of any potential deal.

Reports in France indicate that Didier Drogba could be at either Roma or Chelsea next season.
Le10 Sport lead with the news that the Ivorian goalscorer will leave Galatasaray in the summer, after spending less than two season in Turkey.
It is believed that the Giallorossi will fight to sign the 36-year-old as they hope to add some experience to their forward line, with a place in the Champions League already guaranteed for next term.
Jose Mourinho though, is keen to bring back the Blues’ great to Stamford Bridge, with the intention of giving him a player-Coach role.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Barcelona have again turned their attention to Liverpool defender Daniel Agger, according to claims from Spain.
Sport says that Barca are attracted by the Denmark international’s experience, aerial strength, composure on the ball and that he is left-footed.
Barca have had scouts in England monitoring Agger, who they tried to sign last summer. With Carles Puyol leaving Camp Nou in the summer, it is felt Agger is more of a priority this year.
Agger was a target of Tito Vilanova after it was made clear that Paris Saint-Germain wouldn’t sell Thiago Silva, but Liverpool turned down Barca’s €17m offer.
When Vilanova stepped down due to ill health and was replaced by Tata Martino, the search for a new centre-back ceased on the orders of the Coach.
Agger is under contract at Anfield until 2016 and hasn’t always been first-choice under Brendan Rodgers this season. He has made 19 appearances in the Premier League, including 15 starts, a result of injuries and the manager’s selection decisions.
The 29-year-old is on a three-defender shortlist, with Chelsea’s David Luiz and Aymeric Laporte of Athletic Bilbao.
