i know i may sound amateurish, but here's some aspect we should try again.

- pepe varane works best
- would not have hot headed ramos as the main 2 of last line
- carvajal + marcelo at same time expose too much defensively
- carvajal went missing against big team

no matter how i see it, carvajal-ramos-pepe-marcelo will get beaten easily by team with slightly better attacking.


just a humble opinion form a young fans, be kind with me would ya.

carvajal is young, its too early to label him a big game flop...ramos at right back makes sense, after all, he used to play at the right back spot for us before arbeloa arrived and when age caught up with salgado....but even then, he still encountered disciplinary problems, and witty wingers could pose problems for him every now and then; i remember diego capel back then at sevilla constantly troubling him...i really don't know anymore with ramos. the one thing that has been constant with him since i saw him make his debut has been his recklessness.....pepe is no better, whilst i like his provocative attitude against barcelona (i'm not into the 'be a good sportsman or gentleman' in rival games'), his madness clogs his thinking most of the time....ramos shifting to right back is worth a try, but it means we only have nacho as the extra cb....varane should start regardless

carvajal offensive attribute is useful against scrub team that try to park the bus, while we can see all these + gone when he needed to concentrate more on defensive against big team. eg, on barca game, multiple possession loss and even 'passing' directly to opponent.
if we opt for a defensive full back, why not a much exp ramos. by putting him as right back, it will also reduce the chance of damage bring by ramos recklessness as CB. (since it's like impossible to drop him out of XI by carlo or anyone else)

pepe tend to be dramatic, but his technical is good.
nacho is actually ok, more than enough as backup for any of the defending pose

on positive note, ramos actually can run, and have another good aeriel player added.

smh when will some of you just admit that ramos is overrated, and not as good as you think, if la liga had better attackers(just slightly) he would get exposed every week, he is a really really bad defender, been costing us all season long he is shit.

Yeh, Ramos was poor at RB. Constantly got beat by any decent winger. He had all the attributes for a top CB, which is why he moved there. But he's inconsistent there too.

Main thing is we shouldn't be sitting back against possession teams, we just don't have the players for it. Instead we should stick to our philosophy every game, regardless of whether it's Barca or Bayern.

Well he can be good sometimes against some scrub teams at CB but at RB he always sucks. he can't cross, he can't defend, he can't dribble and he has awful decision making. slows the game just to do some fancy stepovers and tricks which has no point except saying hey look i can do that.
