Sevilla team to play Porto:
Beto; Coke, Pareja, Navarro, Moreno; Mbia, Carrico; Reyes, Rakitic, Marin; Bacca
Pretty weak centre back pairing for Sevilla tonight with Fazio suspended. Not the strongest pairing in the air.
Porto team:
Fabiano; Danilo, Reyes, Mangala, Sandro; Fernando, Defour; Varela, Carlos Eduardo, Queresma; Martinez

Struggling to fathom the placement of Briande ahead of Lacazette with the youngster supporting him central. Umtiti greats new for them.
Conte starting off with a very direct, fluid and interchangeable play dominated by the flanks (Asamoah in particular) as its suiting them so far. Not enough creativity in the final third, though.

Re: -The Official Club of Europa League>Champions League Gathering- Pt.II
Conte continues to fail in understanding that the gap between Juventus' midfield and their forwards is heavily costing how much influence each of their forwards can produce. Increasingly seems that the license for them to drop deep to assist the midfield is a forgone conclusion as its no coincidence Vucinic is not playing and Llorente acquiring half as many touches as he did in the beginning. It simply is costing each and everyone one of their forwards.

Juventus look so slow in transition, quite bad for european standards. I wish Lyon had a bit more talent, they would be winning this with ease.

Which is why their 3-1-4-2 modification cannot work vs teams who tend to play with width and a higher tempo. It's too unnecessarily tactical for a Europe to which currently does not require semantics outside width, pace, pressing and simplicity.
Their displays of 4-3-3 in their 3 years in Europe so far have looked so much better, yet Conte does not understand that due to the 4-3-3 failing in the Serie A.

Bonnuci Juventus' best player of the half. He may be questioned defensively yet his distribution in the back and dominance to support Pirlo is unquestionable.
Umtiti a wonderful touch for Leo's scintillating pass there.

Re: -The Official Club of Europa League>Champions League Gathering- Pt.II
Porto 1 - 0 Sevilla.
Before the goal, Sevilla were defending a lot and could barely get out their own half, but they weren't being troubled too much by Porto's possession. They even started to grow into the game more, but switched off completely during a set-piece and just gave Queresma all the time he wanted to cross the ball in - as good a cross as it was - for an unmarked Mangala.
Sevilla need to find a way to get up the pitch and trouble Porto more, otherwise Porto will score one of their numerous set-pieces or score a screamer or something. Marin and Reyes are having poor games on the flanks, unable to carry Sevilla up the field when they have the ball. Might need the hard running of Vitolo in the second half. Knowing Emery he'll throw on Gameiro and hope for the best.
