In all fairness to Mole, RM's performances should be taken with a pinch of salt as we really have been down this road before. However, we did beat Atletico home AND away in the CDR so technically, we played a top La Liga side this season and won.

I find it strange that you can be so definite about a hypothetical. My opinion is that you have to be playing very poorly to concede 6 goals, no matter how good your opponent is, and Fiorentina is not that poor.

Yeah maybe they would've lost 0-4 instead of 0-6.Which comes to the point about which team is better at damage control,and that really holds no significance.

Viola would've been played off the park in a similar fashion.

I'm pretty surprised on how well we are playing now as i thought it would take Carletto more time to shape up this squad considering how disorganized we look early in the season.

Carlo has made some good tactical adjustments which is getting the team to play better.Especially playing Di Maria at CM which has worked out quite brilliantly.

Not to mention some of Madrid's Cantera are prospering under him.Done a very impressive job so far.

Lets not forget he has handled the goalkeeper situation quite perfectly unlike his predecesessor.

Schalke just like Galatasaray before them made the wrong tactical choice. You just don't play a highline against attackers such as ours we will destroy that without remorse. Draxler should not have played since he has just come back from injury. seriously what was Meyer doing all game??? Hunter always had to drop deeper to get a feel of the ball. They tried to jump from A-Z without going through the letters in between. I saw them having quite a few counters but Farfan had to pass back because there was noone in the box and when he did get a cross in it ended up being a poor one

I think they gave us too much respect. The Ronaldo post shot for example the defender was a cm away from him and just backed and backed until Ronaldo saw a shot opportunity and shot. Just shove him, LaLiga defenders are never this cute with him

I think Real Madrid played a very serious game which Shalke didnt deserve. Benzema was MOTM...unreal game from him.I was not satisfied with Marcelo how ever, he was poor overall. Huntelar ruined a perfect game for me, that goal tho

Schalke would've lost anyways. But maybe by a smaller margin if secret agent Santana and Matip weren't playing.

Anyways, Schalke needs a better coach, and then experience will take care of the rest. They do have a very, very talented squad.

Papadopoulos, Draxler, Meyer, Goretzka. They have a good future ahead of them if they play their current cards right.
