Sterling is just a joy to watch on this form... Great run by him, spotted by Coutinho, then wisely giving the ball to Suarez who can pull rabbits out of hats and he did that with his chip to Sturridge - there were so many defenders I didn't think it was on - and Sturridge did well to stay onside.

1 - 0 @ HT means we are far from winning this yet, a second goal would do wonders. My biggest worry is that West Brom find better solutions from the bench; Anichebe and Amalfitano. Need to stay focused in defence.

I think we could do little better in the final third and it seems we are attacking with caution.
Cissikho, i will wait for the second half to get over before I praise him.

WBA deserved a lot more than Liverpool from this game.

We literally had 2 chances the whole game. The goal, and Suarez chance in the second half.

We didn't turn up, and the away form / performances sit deep, play on the counter crap continued.

I dont think WBA deserved lot more than Liverpool, they were even more shit giving the ball away several times, and we were equally bad as well, specially toure, in the first half only it was clear he was feeling uncomfortable.

Suarez, the half chance which he converted into a good chance, would score that 99 times out of 100 but today we were so bad in fianl third, ffffs

When Aly Cissokho is arguably your MOTM, you don't deserve 3 points.

WBA were the only team looking for a goal after they equalized. We struggled to string 2 passes together in the final third...

If Toure's pass happened in Serie A, it would initiate a match-fixing enquiry.

Needed to score more, though, and didn't create enough chances. Sturridge and especially Suarez were excluded from the game too much. Maybe should try dropping Coutinho for away matches to play three CMs in order to gain a bit more control. Obviously our full-back situation wasn't helping our attack at all, I don't remember seeing Flanagan in possession in West Brom's half of the pitch and while Cissokho got forward pretty well a few times he still didn't contribute much anything in that final third.

Sterling was our best player for me, followed by Skrtel and Gerrard. Mignolet with two great saves: that point-blank header and Brunt's free-kick.

Toure f***ed up real bad and we needed to do a bit more in attack. That's two big points dropped in a very, very winnable game.

Cissokho apparently had a 58% passing competition rate today.

well another thing, I realised today why BR is not starting Kelly, when we needed him defensively to be strong, he was not good enough in those last few minutes.

Winning this game would've made our job so much easier against Arsenal ffs. We could've had room to drop points against the gunners if we kept the 4 point lead on 5th place. f*ckin hate these sort of f*ck ups specially when we blatantly give up the win with a stupid error like today.

Pathetic performance. When we cannot perform when a goal down versus a poor team such as West Brom, it shows we are in a dire need for a plan B.

Henderson when playing with Gerrard becomes the old and meek Hendo as Allen's inclusion did not help considering he played the exact same role as Henderson. Only Gerrard and Skrtel stood out as our best players as the rest was pure reliance on SAS to pull something out of their hinds.

Toure's pass is unforgivable. You do not gain so much experience and succumb to freezing despite 0 pressure as I cannot express my fury at that mistake. Gerrard and Skrtel's attempt to recover the turnover and relying on Mignolet WAS EVEN WORSE. Should be given hell by BR after that effort (or lack thereof). Cannot drop points in matches that need to be won.

West Brom's time-wasting and our reaction to the goal made it one of the worst displays of football I have seen.

it was so sad that we didnt even show the urgency to get the winner, only Sterling showed some desire. I think today SAS has taken it way too casually, Sturridge's final third passing was awful today,

This sit deep, and hit them on a counter is our plan B... we haven't played "plan A" enough this season. Sick and tired of it too. This current system doesn't suit our team at all. We were asking to make a mistake. Majority of our possession in this game was in OUR third and in our defence.

Disagree with Henderson being nullified with Gerrard in the team, it's becoming a myth. Hendo continues to perform, but the whole team is poor tactically so it's something BR has to address. He's only had half a season to look at it.

Our best players were easily SAS. And by SAS, I mean Skrtel and Sterling.

Cissokho showed more drive than half our team! We were way too complacent and just assumed we were going to win today, rather than put in a performance to get the 3 points. We deserved to drop points.

Been absolutely depressed over this result all day. Will write a long write up/rant tomorrow. Disgusting attitude by everyone bar Sterling and Flanagan.

We've had the same "attitude" in every game on the road bar Everton at Goodison...
