Judge a man by his season not by a single game. Dude's scored 3 goals all season, Valencia would be smart to move him and get some one else (let Paco Alcacer develop)

I was under the impression Kovacic was unsellable at Inter.

Like who? I would have expected Wenger to make a move by now but unless there's some deal being worked on currently, I'd be surprised if anyone was brought in.

Yea, it's likely to late
They were linked with Draxler, Rodrigo, and Pato. Honestly any of those signings could of been duds or could of been a surprise addition but we will likely never know.

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
It is interesting that no back-up for Giroud has been brought in, even a loan deal. Relying on Bendtner is a joke at the best of times but with Walcott out too, I can only presume he's really hoping nothing happens to the big Frenchman.

Toni Kroos to Liverpool. A dream so distant that the human body won't even produce enough melatonin for us to dream such a reverie.
If by some unlikely happen-stance it would occur, us LFC fans would know how Arsenal fans felt when they signed Özil.

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
Say Kroos wins another treble this season with Bayern but this time not injured and as a starter. Say he gets tired (a la Gomez) with Bayern winning everything so easily with little challenge. Say he wants to move to PL this summer. Say he wants a proper challenge, to take a struggling prestigious giant with an enormous history back to the summit of Europe. Say he is afraid to feel homesick so he wants whatever team he chooses to wear red like Bayern. Say Liverpool make CL. Say Henry tells Rodgers he could splash 40m on whatever player he likes........................
Kroos joins United.

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
Borussia Dortmund do not want to sell Ilkay Gundogan but CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke insists the club could cope without the midfielder.
The Germany international has been linked with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United, though any potential move is expected to occur in the summer, given the 23-year-old is currently out with a long-term back injury.
With interest in Gundogan swelling, Watzke expressed his desire to keep hold of the player but insisted that it would not spell disaster for Die Schwarzgelben if they sold him.
"Of course you're always trying to keep your top players, this is completely normal and we want to extend Ilkay's contract," he told Sky Sport News. "But you also have to see a sale as an opportunity.
"In 2011, we lost Nuri Sahin, who was the Bundesliga player of the year and we recovered.
"Ideally, we manage it so that only one top player goes again this year, namely Robert Lewandowski."

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
Ryan Bertrand has refused to rule out a permanent move to Aston Villa from Chelsea, but insists he will take his loan spell one game at a time for now.
The 24-year-old arrived at Villa Park earlier this month after failing to hold down a regular place under Blues boss Jose Mourinho, who preferred Ashley Cole and Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back, and made his debut in the 2-2 draw at Liverpool.
Bertrand will make his first home appearance in Wednesday's West Midlands derby against West Brom, but stresses it is too soon to speculate over his long-term future.
"I'm just here to concentrate on each game as it comes and to get back playing regularly," he is quoted as saying by The Birmingham Mail. "I'll leave all that stuff until the end of the season.
"You can't rule anything out. It's important, first and foremost, that my performances are good enough. I need to concentrate on each game.
"I've settled in quite easily. It's fortunate, to be fair, because I know half the team through England at younger ages. It has been good. It's great to be involved in a derby for my first home game."
Villa boss Paul Lambert remarked that even if he was interested in making Bertrand's move permanent at the end of the season, the cost could prove a stumbling block.
"He's Chelsea's player and we're thankful to them for letting him come here," he added. "What Ryan's value is I haven't a clue. He's played in the biggest club competition [the Champions League] and won it so he knows how to do it.
"That's the main thing, the value of him. If you are buying him you're not buying a novice, you're buying someone who has won the European Cup and I'm pretty sure they won't come cheap."

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hinted that he is still hopeful of completing a last-minute deal in the January transfer window.
When asked by reporters whether to expect any arrivals before the transfer deadline, the Frenchman replied: "I hope we have something to tell you."

Surely just a back up with Kaka and Honda already there?
Taab is talented, just needs a manager "right" for him to get over his attitude problems; similarly to Balotelli really. Milan could be good for him.
