I'm not happy at all. First off, nothing really changes if the people who Rosell brought are still there even if he is gone. Second he is giving credibility to the suit by stepping down, before it was a possibility of fraudulent behavior, now its an accepted fact. Finally, this and the ensuing campaign will generate instability for the club which might make it's way to the results.

Rosell should have waited until the end of the season to step down.

Rosell is a hypocrite. The man who wiped Barcelona's tradition and brought Qatar on Barça's colours personally orders for a senyera-themed as the away colours this season.

His team wasted a ton of money on average players that did nothing to improve the squad (up until Neymar, ironically).

One more year and he would have changed Camp Nou's name to Camp Qatar.

PS: Barça should stay away from Laporta. He was the right president for the club 10 years ago but for now he'll be nostalgia. He became shadier and shadier as time passed by. Avoid.

In the long run it is much better for the image of the club then keeping him.
the whole scandal is because of him, so getting rid of Rosell helps us move forward, granted we do not get another crap president like him.

Like BC said, I would have preferred that Rosell leave at the end of the season, and if "his" people are still there, it won't change much...

Then again, I'm not going to complain much due to the fact that well, Rosell isn't our president anymore.

Hopefully this doesn't affect our campaign negatively though. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

If not, then hopefully the staff tries to act to strengthen the image of the club sooner rather than later to help get past the negativity Rossell's weasel face brought to us.

Also I hope this doesn't affect the club itself too much on the pitch. I hope they can ignore all this and just continue to perform and listen to Tata and not the media...as well as Neymar. Dude probably feels horrible; his transfer directly lead to the clubs president resigning even if it wasn't his fault or if he knew about what Rossell might of done wrong (which he might of. If Rossell really is paying his dad all this extra cash for no reason and it's in Neymar's contract then Neymar knows damn well he was getting hooked up and that's why they chose us over Real Madrid)

Don't think so. You gotta have to pay a massive fine most probably.

We can't lose him, but as M99 said a massive fine in taxes or what not more than likely. I'm not sure what our status is with FFP so hopefully we didn't spend so much on him that it tipped us over.  

Oh, and hopefully worse case scenario is some jail time for Rossell lol

Apparently Rosell denounced 9 death threat to the police and they found a bullet hole in his home. I dislike Rosell, but that's going to far..

If Jordi Cases shares the same opinion, which I hope not, then it looks like the socio only cared about Rosell leaving the club, and doesn't even really want to know the truth

Well, now it's obvious that the reason why you didn't buy players at positions of need was because all the money was wasted on Neymar.

If Rosell received death threats, it's surely not from people like me, who opposed him from the beginning. On the contrary, the most likely is that the same people that threatened Laporta 's life are threatening Rosell, the Boixos nois. Rosell made a pact with them to create the youth stand so they could came back in the stadium and it finally backfired when it was made public that they were selling cheap tickets to Boixos and convicts. They first denied it, but afterwards acknowledged it was true and stop the youth stand project and selling cheap tickets. Hence the threats.

Play with fire, and you are going to get burned.

So the club has release the contract and it looks like they were telling the truth.

the only part of the salary bracket that counts towards the transfer fee is the signing bonus and agent fee.
why explains why the color is faded out rather then black.

Yeah I read that aswell, but why didn't they get it earlier? If they would have release it sooner, we could have skipped all this bs..

That, you have you ask the madrid media. It has never been counted before as a part of the transfer money. Otherwise C.ronaldo, for example, would cost more €94m or Bale more than €101m etc..
