Sterling starting is fine and Skrtel starting is brilliant. If they start.

Rodgers specifically stated Aspas wasn't going to be fit enough to start for this match, so why are people upset he's not in the (rumoured) line up?

I've always liked Skrtel and he's been brilliant all season. Some people are just clutching at every imaginable and unimaginable straw to justify him getting dropped from the starting line-up.Natalie Portman wrote:Skrtel is the new Carroll for Art . Anyway hope we win, don't have much faith in BC

My problem is Sterling, after such an awful pedestrian performance last match he should be yelled at by Rodgers not given a start in this match specially with Alberto on the bench.HEIL MEIN REDS wrote:So the line up will beMigwhat's ur problem babba

So Lucas has been dropped for Allen. The next step is to drop Gerrard... Anyway, I approve of this midfield rotation.

Perfect game to respond to what is a mediocre team, after the absolute tactical *bleep* that was Norwich. The fissures SAS have done to was to conceal have been erupted well over to expose us for the highly unprepared team that we seem to be increasingly look like as the weeks pass by.
I enjoy Flano despite his limited attack as he has been reliable in at RB. Johnson happens to be less potent in attack at LB yet defensively more reliable, something I have called for a long time now. Agger-Skrtel should be perfect.
Lucas, who has been close to useless in his utility role; must be dropped imminently as at least Allen will recycle possession and offers a superior threat in attack. I love the Brazilian yet he needs to be benched until improvement noted.
I still maintain Gerrard is only going through a rough moment as despite his subdued play, he still offers intelligence within our midfield that assists our players in more discreet ways. Henderson is need to compliment the fluidity.
Sterling would be a preference to dropped as in spite of his youth, he is utter crap unless coming off in an impact role to use his pace and track backs. Do not want to see him atm.

Arq Flanno is the one that's been playing at LB.

tbh i wouldnt be so harsh with sterling because he just tried to do what probably manager asked him to do and he failed but also everyone else couldnt perform that day; if we are talking about last match here.
I will give him one more chance and see if he impresses against a side like Norwich

I'll tell you what, I won't exactly miss Luis Suarez when he eventually leaves Liverpool, but that is one incredibly good hat-trick.

There are three certainties in the life : the death , the taxes and Suarez who scores a hat trick against Norwich.

sterling doing lot better than previous game, dont know why he is not making runs as in the previous season early in the half he had a chance when suarez had the ball, he could have made a run but he didnt.
In 43rd minute, Hendo got tha ball near the half line and threaded a nice ball to sterling when he slipped sadly otherwise it could have created a good chance. He had some good passes from CM position, I am glad to see that Hendo can do that few times when he is not technically so skillful

Re: Liverpool FC vs. Norwich City || Wednesday December 2nd
Brilliant by suarez, if he leaves us were going to struggle a wee bit. 4 goals and an assist, stock standard against Norwich. Pissed off we conceded again, whats that, like 1 clean sheet in our last 12 games, if i remember correctly.
Nice to see sterling score a goal, hopefully that gets him going, still think he adds very little to our attack, should of gave aspas atleast 10-15 minutes just to get him going again, so that he can regain his match fitness.
About 95% ecstatic with todays result, still hurting from the hull game, this fixed it a bit, need to repeat this against west ham.

Re: Liverpool FC vs. Norwich City || Wednesday December 2nd
Suarez carrying Liverpool to another 3 points shocker. On to the next game, it's still at Anfield so we should be okay. With that said, it's still a MASSIVE game against West Ham. We struggle against physical type teams, and especially teams that hurt the opposition from set pieces. Sakho is a MUST in this game. Hopefully Diame is out or our midfield is going to annihilated. Gerrard needs to be dropped; not for performance but because there is no way in hell he can play 3 games in 1 week at 34 without having a toll on his body.
Anyway, here are some of Luis' stats from the Norwich game.
•Suárez now has eleven goals against Norwich, from his league total for Liverpool of fifty-one, meaning that 21.6% of his Premier League scoring output has come against the Canaries.
•Throw in his assist tonight, and from 444 minutes against Norwich, Suárez has a goal or assist every thirty-seven minutes. Exclude his first appearance against them, and it drops to 29.5 for the last four matches. Staggering.
•Once his second goal went in, Suárez had scored as many league goals as he did in the whole of the 2011/12 season, but from a whopping eighty-one fewer shots!
•His third goal meant that Luis Suárez is the first player in Premier League history to score three hattricks against the same club, and he’s the first player ever to do so in the league for Liverpool.
•The Uruguayan became the 35th player to score fifty league goals for the Reds.
•By full time he’d moved on to fifty-one league goals, putting him in joint-29th on the club’s league goalscorers chart, a position he shares with Dirk Kuyt and Ray Kennedy. Fine company to keep.
•Suarez became the third Liverpool player to score three goals in the first half of a Premier League match, after Michael Owen (twice) and Robbie Fowler.
•Luis’ fourth goal took Liverpool to 100 in the league under Brendan Rodgers.
•Thanks in part to Suárez, the Reds had twelve shots on target in a league game for the first time under Rodgers. They’ve only bettered that tally three times since the start of 2008/09.
•Suárez had 6 shots on target tonight. The Liverpool team as a whole only bettered that once in the five league games he missed this season, and averaged 5.4 overall.
•Only ten of the other nineteen teams in the Premier League have scored more goals this season than Luis Suárez
•Suárez is the first Liverpool player to score four times in one match since Owen in April 2003.
•By providing an assist for Sterling, Suárez became the first player to score four goals and an assist another in the Premier League since Frank Lampard in 2010.
•Luis Suárez scored fifteen league goals under Dalglish, from 183 shots (which equates to a 8.2% conversion rate). He now has thirteen this season alone, from fifty-two attempts (25%).
•Luis Suárez now has sixty-four goals and eighteen assists in 106 apps for Liverpool. Sensational.

Really wanted him to score this. To be fair, only Zlatan could have pulled it off.
