Man United reliance on average players?

Carrick is reportedly close to signing a two year contract.
In the summer there major signing was Fellaini, who is basically charlie adam with an afro.
Welbeck is average and should not be starting, and with several ageing players it dont look like a rosy future.
Just who keeps making these gaffs? lol.

Was going to say Carrick was their best midfielder, until I realized he's their ONLY midfielder

It was just in the news that United have posted a record-high quarter revenue, expecting an annual revenue of some £420m. Their debt keeps decreasing and once they get their sh*t together in the transfer market they won't be relying on average players any longer
