Well, at Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, we had the uncanny combination of Jamal Gay and Olivier de Cock in 2008/09, and in the training camp they even shared one room XD

There's a few Brazilians I've seen that use the name Pinga which in some Latin countries translates literally to "cock", like penis. But my fav Brazilian name is a player called Fagner!! Comedy!!!

I read that former Schalke player Ciprian Marica got into some name trouble after signing for Getafe as his surname is a less than endearing term in Spanish. He wants to have "Ciprian" on his shirt now ^^

I'd totally forgotten about him!!! Yeah, his surname could not be anymore outrageous/hilarious/etc. when translated into Spanish in any country really.

If I'm not mistaken I think a few years ago he was playing for Stuttgart and the commentators in Spanish jokingly preferred calling him Ciprian as opposed "marica" which was on his shirt.

And especially in Colombia, Marica is a funny term used in many instances but always used to break someone's balls! He deserves this team's captaincy!
