The Spain international has so far failed to make an appearance this season for Carlo Ancelotti’s after suffering an injury in preseason.

But impressive starts to the campaign from Luka Modric and Sami Khedira, as well as the emergence of Casemiro, mean the former Liverpool man could struggle to regain his place in the starting XI.

Fichajes believe that a €6m will be tabled in the New Year. It is not revealed however, whether the Santiago Bernabeu side will accept such an offer.
