Is this real life Mole?Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Ozil turns people into Monsters.
Turned CR from a guy who couldn't score more than 30 to a guy who regularly scores above 60 and turns Ramsey into a guy who hadn't score 10 goals in his career to someone who can't stop scoring
God help us all when there's a threat in behind and pace in final third.

in EPL 8 gol in 13 matches
in UCL 5 gol in 7 matches
totally 13 gol in 20 matches
and he's midfielder who has played as halfback too..
Impressive. Surely the best in his role now . and to think that until short time ago he was simply laughed at the coincidence of famous deaths ...

It's hilarious that there are people who think Rambo is only an average midfielder without his goals. He's also one of the league leaders in assists & tackles ...

When is Ramsey back? You'll end the season trophyless if he isn't back soon.

Still a few weeks away, then there is the match time to bring him back to match fitness, I would expect end of March before Ramsey becomes a real threat again.

Re: Aaron Ramsey Appreciation Thread
It wasn't even a great match for Ramsey overall, to be honest. Not by his own standards the past ~18 months. But the guy's belief and his workrate are incredible ... when things aren't working for him, he just keeps going at it until stuff falls into place. Today, everything "fell into place" with his FA Cup game winner.
Wenger's belief in Ramsey has been really instrumental too. Whatever you think about AW, you have to acknowledge that he's played a huge part in the (re)emergence of this player.
I always thought Ramsey would come good, honest, but I never imagined he'd become so good so quickly. Or that important goals would be such a feature of his play. What an absolutely incredible, admirable player he is though.

What a player
So glad for him.
After that awful injury procured by Shawcross his career seemed destined differently ... and just a year ago many made fun of him for the coincidence of famous deaths
But luckily the life, insofar as it is bastard, , it also gives you another chance.
Enjoy it Aaron, it's your moment and you deserve it

If he scored 15+ goals this year it must mean 15+ have died.... the horror

Re: Aaron Ramsey Appreciation Thread
It seems to me that Ramsey has less freedom to go attacking freely this season. Like against West Brom, there were four players playing higher up than him: Giroud, Welbeck, Sanchez, Cazorla. He was staying back with Flamini quite often. I don't know, maybe it's a lack of attacking freedom or maybe a lack of ability, but he's not contributing as much in attack as he did last season.

I didnt see the WBA game but that sounds to me like a recent adjustment, probably after the unneccesary defeats.
On the contrary the strange thing this season was that Wenger had Ramsey playing further upront, no?
As almost an AM in a 4-1-4-1, or ahead of Arteta, next to Wilshere in a 4-3-3?
That way he paradoxically had less goal threat as his runs lost their space, timing and impact, and probably he was just in bit of bad form too.

Re: Aaron Ramsey Appreciation Thread
He has been his old self when we play the right system. Like against Dortmund he was one of our best players. But at the start of the season he wasn't at his usual best despite the goals because of the farce of a 4-1-4-1 we implemented.
Atm he is being asked to do everything in Arteta's absence. Flamini is a poor footballer and can only do certain things right unlike Arteta who despite his flaws is really good in deeper area. Ramsey doesn't have to start out attacks and stay deep to help defensively as much as he has to with Flamini.
Sanchez has taken over as our no 1 goal provider while Giroud n Welbeck are secondary options. Ramsey doesn't have to score anymore like he did last year. He is being asked to do different things and play in a different set up every few games for whatever reason. Plus he got injured for a month which halted his season.
He is on track to being a B2B as of now rather than Zidane imo

Re: Aaron Ramsey Appreciation Thread
He looked a lot better yesterday IMO, obviously a result of not flooding the midfield and limiting his space for once.
