I always wanted to do that lol... I'm not so sure what the referee's decision was though, he should have awarded the goal.
In fact, I always wondered what would happen if a player came off the bench and stopped an imminent goal-scoring opportunity (besides getting a yellow/red card).

Lol, that was on our serie D.The goal was not allowed and nothing can be done.
