I know that move was done to stop Tottenham strengthening AND to force out a player Mou apparantly doesn't want

Absolutely insane treating your best player that way, especially when he's not ruining the team, his wages aren't insane (Wouldn't matter to Chelsea anyway) and he doesn't have a massive ego.

It's just insane.

can people stop acting like mata is messi to chelsea, he is their best attacking player but like özil he has some glaring faults you cant look past, which is why mou doesnt want him to begin with

mou learned from his mistakes from the past, which is a great thing.

I would love to be chairman of a football club, I would treat the transfer market as if we were re-creating the Goodfellas.

I would make a transfer offer for Mata and follow it up with a dead fish in both Mou's and the Mad Russian's car.

According to the manager of Romanian outfit Steaua Bucharest, Laurentiu Reghecampf, Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Vlad Chiriches:

"The two clubs have agreed to transfer him. I'm very happy for him. I cannot say the amount for which [he was] transferred, but it is very high. It will be the most expensive transfer in the history of Steaua. The owner says that all there is left to do is sign some documents."

We have an update on the Gareth Bale situation, with Sky Sports News revealing that he is returning to the UK today. The Welshman has been in Spain over the weekend and remains hotly tipped to join Real Madrid from Tottenham, although it emerged earlier that there were bids on the table from more than one club.
