Hey all, so the first game is happily over and already we footy fizards of the Liverpool section are picking correct scorelines: Mr-r34 and Sepilie Portman with full eight points (5 for scoreline, 3 for goal-scorer)!

You can find the table on the first page.

Our second match will be Aston Villa v Liverpool on Saturday.

Hey dudes, could you clarify your goal-scorers a bit? Do your lists mean that you are predicting a single goal-scorer, whoever is first on your list and in the starting XI? Or two goal-scorers? (cannot predict more than two)

To remind everyone:
You get 3 pts if you predict just one goal-scorer and get it right
or
If you predict two goal-scorers, you'll get 1 pt per correct scorer.

Actually I did not know how much maximum options I can give for goal scorers.
Anyways, I also meant the highest ranked player.
So I hope I get two points...

And yeah, you can basically predict one scorer or two, but no more than that or it would get too easy to get them right.

I think we should get rid of the highest ranked starter thing, it just complicates things... It shouldn't be too difficult to edit your post in the hours between lineups getting announced and gametime if for some reason you picked a person on the bench.

It's fine by me to use it as long as it's clear that you are predicting just one goal-scorer and that he has to be in the starting XI.

I feel a draw coming up, but it's against by policy. Chances are they prob will score, but i have a gut feeling they won't today.

Highest scoring starter (I think this works fine as long as you make it obv, and everybody knows when you say highest starter you only mean 1 goal scorer.)

Maybe it's time to get ready to blast out those high-scoring predictions because on paper we should bag a few on Tuesday when we play Notts County at Anfield in the League Cup Cool

All depends on our lineup i guess. Going to try and guess the score just before the game, hopefully i don't sleep in and miss it.

Disappointed in Sepi, were was your prediction.
