Re: Champions League 2013/2014 discussion
yea man i am glad SES is starting to move everywhere. ever since balotelli came, he has been limiting himself to just left, but now we are seeing SES of first half season last year, his movement is always key to being a threat.Gil wrote:SES has been brilliant tonight. Put himself in tons of dangerous positions.

"Stephan El Shaarawy & Mario Balotelli created a combine 9 chances for #Milan with El Shaarawy (5) & Balotelli (4). #DynamicDuo #Visionaries"
SES was a *bleep* monster tonight. Created, scored and caused havoc down left and central. As usual his finishing poor but he actually scored with his head, which I thought was impossible. But created so much for Milan & always steps it up for us. A European player as evidenced by last year.
Abate is one of the best RBs in the world.

Abate is no secret, noone can outdo him on pace
Shaarawy was 1 on 1 and didnt score, that kinda disappointed me a bit.
Niang must be the young player who has the worst 1 on 1 in the game. He does not know what to do before its too late lol. Allegri destroying his confidence with cameo appearences, which is absolutely pointless. Might aswell give him to Genoa then. Prince playing until his legs fall of when he should have been subbed a long time ago.
Allegri and subs barely exist, only thing I hate about his style :S

Wonderful result for Real Socidad in France.
Say what you like about La Liga, but for the budget alot of these sides are on they can compete very well in Europe.

he played on the wings tho with the impressive sefarovic going off. sadly its going to come down to that....super sub appearances that is because that double pivot is locked up and sefarovic has been brilliant in their past two gamesRebaño Sagrado wrote:Probably the best 15 minutes ive ever seen a footballer play tbhThe Franchise wrote:Juan pls, didnt he come on like 15 minutes ago?Rebaño Sagrado wrote:Granero motm

Sorry Arq, and other Milan fans, but I'm rooting for PSV in the second leg.
I want to see the Eredivisie do well, and we can't have the best team in Holland (sorry Ajax fans ) not playing Europe. They do have a very young list though, I think they did okay considering their opposition.

Re: Champions League 2013/2014 discussion
Mature performance by Milan, as expected we tired out and got sloppy towards the end. I doubt this PSV side has the stomach to stay composed under pressure away at Milan and defend well for long periods of time.
Not overly impressed by them tbh gungho type of football with little defensive structure and coordination, they rely heavily on their physical ability to cover their defensive frailties. Good if you're playing against cannon fodder every week, but suicidal against european elite.
