Head-to-Head Fantasy Leagues

Alright, so our ideas/plans for the H2H league(s) are fairly simple and very ambitious. We hope to create multiple 20-person head-to-head leagues in the PL fantasy game and organise them in a tiered structure mimicking the structure of national club football systems. The standings will be recorded for each league at the end of the season and we will implement a 3-up, 3-down promotion/relegation system. As this is the first season for this, the members of each league will be determined by a random draw, with one Admin per league to create said league. Following the draw, the Admin or Mod for each league will PM the members of their respective leagues with the passwords needed to sign up.

This is all based on the hope that we will have enough interest to create multiple leagues, however. All of the actual work will be done by RG, DTOR, and I* so all that is required of participants is that they play the fantasy game, are willing to try to continue with it into next season (no requirements or obligatory commitments), and that anyone definitely interested let us know as soon as possible so that we can get the leagues up and running prior to the first match day.

The overall winners and runners-up will receive recognition in the yearly forum awards and monikers may be given out as well for stand-out performers (good AND bad). IF this proves as successful and fun as we hope, and we have sustained interest in the following seasons, we can possibly look into expanding things further, both in terms of size AND with perhaps regards to awards and rewards.

As stated at the beginning, this is a very ambitious project that is being undertaken by RG, DTOR, and I and we want to have as many participants as possible. We would absolutely love to see this become an established and long-lasting tradition that can provide another level of experience for everyone on the forum. Because this is the original year we do need to know who is going to participate AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I will post a cut-off date for sign-ups in the next week or so.

The deadline for the H2H leagues will be next Aug. 5... as in, if you have not posted saying you are interested BEFORE August 5th you will be left out of the league-assignment process and will not be a part of the competition.

Process for joining the league:

First, when logged in, click on the "Leagues" tab at the top of the page.
Step 1:

Next, click on the "Join a league" tab that appears in the league window that opens.
Step 2:

Then, select "Private League" and click the "Next" button at the bottom right.
Step 3:

Finally, enter the code provided into the box just below the "Private league code" text" and click the "Join Private League" button.
Step 4:

Assuming the code has been entered correctly and the league still has open spaces, you will then be added to the league list.

How many players did GL have in its Classic last season? An 18 or 16 team tiers should be fine as well if we are short on players for 20-team leagues.
