From a talent standpoint - they're the best in the world. Pep will certainly be able to improve them in attack and improve the way they defend (though he may sacrifice some of the latter).

You have to wonder how he's going to manage all these guys though. At Barca he had a thin squad, and the majority o the reserves were fabrica kids who he'd coached at some point. The one time Pep has run into a quality player unhappy with his role he reportedly stopped talking to him for six months. I don't think that will cut it at Bayern.

In a World Cup year with probably every member of your squad competing for a place on their respective national teams, he's not going to make everyone happy. Some people will get left behind, even if it's temporarily.

I'm going to refrain from saying it's going to be a disaster - but it will be a relatively new test for Pep...and it will be intriguing to see how he handles it.

Byern winning 4-0 against Hamburg atm. Playing some amazing stuff. Thiago is unique. Adds dynamism to that mf. This team is frightening. Pep has added his own touch to it.

They are adapting to a new coach. The style was slightly different. Especially the building from the back. Thiago was fantastic. Dat pass for mandzukic's second goal Proud

Great stuff, goat game from Thiago... but lets see how amazing this midfield is against tough opposition(CL).Pep will probably play Piggy-Thiago, I think that's suicide, could be Khedira-Schweinsteiger 2.0

Pretty sure they'll move to a 4-3-3, Piggy as a DM, Thiago and Kroos as the Cm's.

Martinez might play as a CB.

Telekom final against Borussia Moenchengladbach...Thiago is starting. This is the formation courtesy of one great fellow on a Bayern forum who had the initiative to take a screencap:

It doesn't make sense. Martinez, Gusavo, Bastian and even Thiago. Not to mention Emre Can. They all can play in the midfield. But he has been playing Lahm over there in nearly every match.

Wonder what's he thinking

I think the system has changed a bit.Kroos isnt fitting in at all in this match and I think the rumours about Pep wanting to let him go may be true as Thiago has outshined him by far. Also You can tell that Lahm is really not satisfied with his peformance.
