Juventus in Isla control

Mauricio Isla says Juventus will make a decision on his future after the Old Lady held talks with Udinese on Friday.

“At the moment I’m just thinking about the national side and then my holidays,” the Chilean international noted.

“Nevertheless, my future is in the hands of Juventus. They will have the final say on the situation.”

The wide man, 24, is co-owned between both clubs after the Turin giants bought a 50 per cent share in him last summer.
His future with the Old Lady, though, is in doubt after he appeared in just 11 League games following his return from injury.

Inter are known to be keen on netting his signature this summer.

Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici spoke with Udinese chief Gino Pozzotoday to discuss the South American’s contract.
Reports suggest that the two clubs may renew their co-ownership, but that would not necessarily rule out a move for Isla this summer.

Inter close to finalizing deal for Chilean international

Inter are close to finalizing a deal that will see them capture the signature of Mauricio Isla.

The winger endured a frustrating season at Juventus last term, struggling to hold down a first team place after coming back from a serious knee injury.

As a result, Tuttomercatoweb are reporting that Inter are close to capturing the 25-year-old who is still co-owned by the Bianconeri and Udinese.

Inter would buy the Zebrette’s half of the player, though it remains to be seen what deal will be reached between the Nerazzurri and their arch rivals.

“Isla to Inter? It is very probable, there are only a few details remaining,” Isla’s agent, Claudio Vagheggi, stated on Thursday night.
