Unless you're actually watching it, you would realize how wrong you are.

This iOS is very promising and brought much NEEDED changes. Changes that were once criticized for not being included before.

it may have brought changes but those changes are ugly looking, looks alot like the Chinese KIRF

most of the new changes looks like things they have taken from other OS, other apps etc

It's an entirely new design of how everything looks and works (to an extent), they brought changes that at the moment are being applauded by the masses.

And you point out it's ugly? Yup such a downfall on Apples part.

If you look hard enough, there are similarities.
But a some of those "similarities" have carried over from the Mac OS.

If anyone were to look solely at the lock screen, I don't believe there would be a single person who wouldn't recognize the difference between ios, windows, and android.

And this new lockscreen is alot better than the old one they use to have. Right?

Not a fan of the UI either. Ruined it would be too far though. Anyway, nothing a good jailbreak can't fix...

EDIT: I changed my mind, just checked the apple website and I think it looked nice. Finally the control center has been released. I dont like the lock screen and camera but rest is nice

Although I to was a fan of that, but with jailbreaks I guarantee the first thig anyone did was tweak the lockscreen.

The idea that you have to hack your phone to get it to even vaguely resemble its predecessor

It does resemble Android in many ways and has some features that look like it was on Win8 but IMO they gave it the Apple touch and got it right

I prefer Android so far but with this new iOS they just made the slick and cool interface on Apple even better with a combination of stuff on Android

Just got the iOS 7 beta installed, since its a beta I cannot get FaceTime and iMessage to work, also some of the apps just crash after launching, which is understNdable until a stable version comes out. But other than that it is really refreshing, it feels like a new phone again and like the new control center, will keep it for a week and go back to iOS 6 until the final release of 7 is out in the fall

How are you returning back to iOS 6?
I'd like to know because I want to give iOS7 a quick run and see some changes first hand.

I understand the beta is out for developers and how there are some methods to get your phone registered as a developer.

But my concern is being able to revert back to iOS6

Honestly it's a idiot move to update to a devoloper version. You guys realize that ALOT of the stuff that works usually won't work in the devoloper version? That could include basic stuff, you know, like calling or even texting at times.

I'm not looking to keep it permanently. I just wanted to get a jist of some of the basics like let's say notification center or even multitasking. Even if it's for a short time.

Its a beta so one would need to be a fool to think this is a final product or a direct representation of what is to come.

As for finding a ipsw wo a developers authentication I have a ipsw saved on my comp you can pm and I can see how I can send it to you.

You don't have to be registered as a developer. If you can manage to get your hands on the iOS 7 ipsw for your specific device, you can use it.


I'm using it now and I love it this far. The multitasking,messaging, iTunes Radio, camera, revamped notification center, and finally CONTROL CENTER which was long over due.


Of course there's a couple of bugs (it's a beta) like I can only delete certain alarms from "clocks", some 3rd party apps don't open/forceclose,etc

Twitter works fine and a couple of games I have do too. I am able to text,picture message, make phone calls, all the essentials basically and it's awesome as far as I can tell.

Can't wait for the final version

I got a ipsw of iOS 6.1.4 in case, and I've already gone through and reverted back at first to make sure it worked now I'm running on iOS 7.
