Arsenal and Manchester City make offers for Pogba
Arsenal and Manchester City have both made €20 million offers for Juventus’ Paul Pogba, reports in Italy suggest.
The 20-year-old midfielder arrived in Turin from Manchester United on a free transfer last summer and has enjoyed a fantastic season with the Bianconeri.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, both the Gunners and Citizens have been in touch with Juve director general Beppe Marotta and proposed a €20m fee for the Frenchman.
In spite of the high fee, Juventus are unlikely to sell a player they deem important for the future of the club.
Pogba made 27 appearances in Serie A last season, scoring on five occasions.

We didn't make any offers. We are not even interested in him. I don't know why his agent/media keep trying to drag us.

30M? No chance bro,
Players 5 years older who are only slightly better than he is now can go for more than that in this stupid inflated day and age.

Agreed.
Pogba is still a child. In 5 years his value might be $60 million+...
Plus why would we ever sell a 20 year old future star for ANY price??

Well then we should wait until he is fully developed then and sell him for $60 million...
Remember Zidane?? Marotta can take a lesson from Moggi on this type of sale...

Re: Arsenal and Manchester City make offers for Pogba
Neither player HAS to leave, and won't leave right now.
And in the future with Pirlo obviously not playing until he's 40 years old, there will be a big chance to get into our starting XI for a very, very long time indeed.
If Pogba did have to leave, why not keep his services until he makes it clear he wishes to seek a new club. Then make sure he's already on a contract that isn't going to run out, and take away any release clause. Ask for a stupid sum of money for him and take it from there.
Take that money, invest most of it into any weaknesses we may or may not have in the future.
Much smarter than going for the quick cash now. We can spend 30M on a striker, we do not need to sell Pogba or any good player for that matter to secure a striker.

What I was saying was that between Pogba and Marchisio It would be better for Pogba to leave

Agreed. I would be absolutely shocked right now if Juve don't have AT LEAST a $50 million transfer kitty for this summer. Heck we spent that much when we finished in 7th place. And that money should just be a cheque cut from the Elkann bank account, so I'm not even including any monies received from the sale of players like Melo, Martinez, Marrone, etc.
$50 million is more than enough to buy at least one top player. Jojo, Higuain, Tevez, one of those players surely needs to come or else Marotta has failed in his job...

Re: Arsenal and Manchester City make offers for Pogba
Yeah. Marotta has been great, done an admirable job.
Pirlo Pogba and Andrea B costing a combined £300,000.
Beautiful.
Vidal's quadrupled in price, Vucinic has sort of carried our attack in a creative sense for about 15Million.
However, Marotta now has to deliver on the goodies upfront. Now, if it did in fact turn out that he was given something like 20M and told to do what he can, it's not his fault. Then some serious questions would have to be asked about the ambition of the Board.
Of course, this is all speculation. I can't see a scenario that getting CL football, a new stadium and 2 scudetti has somehow halfed our regular budget.

Yes, I agree but there is no reason to sell either player at this point. Marotta needs to be bale to purchase a top striker WITHOUT selling one of our top players or top prospects like Pogba. If Marotta's only way to purchase Jojo or Higuain is through the sale of Marchisio or Pogba then he has failed as a director general because all he is doing is weakening one position to strengthen another. Even you or me can sell Pogba for $30 million and then purchase Jojo, you don't have to have experience in transfers to be able to pull that off, I could do it myself with 2 phone calls, one call to Mourinho and one call to Della Valle and the deals are done...

When the club doesn't want to sell a player, and when the player is happy with the club, there should be a crazy offer to convince them,
JUVENTUS rarely sell players unless his performances or age is a problem, and I don't believe we have such problems with POGBA...
