Barcelona equal Spanish's League's points record

First of all, congrats to them once more for winning the title.
They did it by equalling La Liga's points record tally of one hundred points. This in a season when Goallegacy among others have discussed somewhat a lot how Barcelona seem to be not as good as they were a couple of seasons ago.
So are they still better than most of us seem to think or has the gap between La Liga's finest and the rest grown even bigger?

La Liga record win, UCL semi-final, cup semi-final. Not bad. The dipping point was the Bolivian hell, which did Messi in.

Although they've broken the record, they still aren't as good as they were under Pep. I think any coach can win La Liga with the squads Real Madrid/Barca have.

The fact this Barca lost 7-0 over two legs against Bayern and got 100 points says everything you need to know about this La Liga.

Does nothing for me. I would have rather we not look to beat records and used these last 5 games or so to give minutes for development of our youth. 100 points? who cares. A league is a league. And we didn't even beat the record, just met it.

Completely agreed with BC.
Would have enjoyed seeing what are youngsters can do against La Liga opponents, instead we put the same squad out we usually do and went for a useless record.

Would have liked to see the likes of Bartra, Thiago, Tello/Deufelou all started the match as well as Abidal getting more minutes off the bench...

I'm not directly aiming at you but i do have the feeling that too many here are like : PL is garbage , tactically etc... La LIga is weak , Serie A is weak , Ligue 1 is very weak ... Bundesliga is weak

2/10It says a lot about the fitness level and injuries Barca had at the time and about how things might have gone differently otherwise.

Barcelona won the Liga with a record 15-point lead. Previous record was Barcelona's 13 points over Madrid and Mallorca in 1998/99. [via fcb]
