Tbh I don't think Bale will better this last season for us and I think this is our best chance to get the most money out of him. A cynical view? Yes. But for 90 million euros I have the utmost faith in the likes of AVB, Levy, and Baldini (yeah he be coming) to create a better team with that money.

Now this presents a slight conundrum as I'm a Barca fan first and foremost and this would strengthen the club that shalt not be named. However I'm very unsure of Bale's ability to play as well as he did in the EPL in La Liga. I'm also doubtful about his ability to play in that club among Ronaldo. I think Bale is an incredible player obviously, but I'm not sure how well he'll do. Either way that club is shite and Barca will wreck them anyway, but I'm not convinced of Bale's ability in La Liga. I'll have to wait and see if it happens and if it does, watch it happen. Modric didn't exactly light La Liga on fire, and I felt the same way about him
