Yeah, an intelligent player, because both piggy and toure can morph into playmaker and then you can see them tackling, and they are physical, i love that kind of players.
I think all round midfielders suit the EPL more. In La liga technique is usually enough and Fabregas has it.

I know there is still big difference between being pure cule and being Barca fans since childhood but to me it's not a problem. As long as player is willing to work for his shirt then I don't care even if Real Madrid was his most hated team in his childhood.babun1024 wrote:Error, you confuse flirting with dating The bond between Fab and Farca is a lot deeper than some distant affection

What's your idea of cheap? I'm more concerned about wages and Kaka. Piggy to come cheap? keep dreaming.
Only way he is coming cheap is if the years on his contract are run down but by then Sahin and Khedira would be too good to replace.

Re: Fabregas discussion
For quality of player like Cesc I would consider 40mil or less for cheap. And of course some has to go if Cesc comes (probably Kaka), that's quite obvious. Cesc wouldn't be more expensive than some player some that has been already suggested (Aguero, Essien, Sanchez etc.).babun1024 wrote:What's your idea of cheap? Essien wouldn't cost a lot, 25 millions at most. Aguero would cost 15 millions if you consider that we'll sell one of the Benz/ Higgy if he comes. If Fabregas comes, we have to offload Kaka otherwise it doesn't make sense, then sgin him for 40 millions something, offer at least 7 millions in wages each year for someone we don't really need That's expensive, very expensive

Re: Fabregas discussion
I was mostly talking about wages but I don't think his price would be any bigger than what we have to pay for Aguero. If Cesc comes then Kaka goes (between 25-40mil). The cash from Kaka sale would obviously fund the Cesc move just like in your Benzema/Aguero swap. In the end, he wouldn't be so expensive.babun1024 wrote:Are you an old poster under a new name? Im not saying piggy is poor at or his a bad passer, but fabregas takes it to a whole other level, and piggy isnt close to getting there. Passing and vision wise, fabreags is a 2 notices above easily.

Well thats your opinion, it doesn't mean you're right. On record Schweinsteiger is the best passer of the ball, you probably don't even watch him or know anything about his play making

Re: Fabregas discussion
I have, from the end of last season through the world cup and the beginning of this one that just ended.
Passing wise he is a clear notch above. Piggy isnt even the best passer in bundesliga, Sahin also was a class above, following him it's one of those things that just jump to your eyes.
To me Piggy is a solid quality passer, but not top notch. Borja is better passer than him if you want another example.

Sahin had a good season, let see if he can keep it up. but here if you have time read this testimony of Gomez
http://www.goal.com/en/news/15/germany/2011/01/24/2320879/bastian-schweinsteiger-passes-like-xavi-and-andres-iniesta-mario-
Re: Fabregas discussion
First of, Sahin had a great season, but just in terms of vision and passing, he is already superior to piggy.
Well it's gomez, he is obviously showering his playmaker with praise.
Dont get me wrong, Piggy is a good passer, and he also have a good understanding of his teammates, so he very often plays the right pass.
all those guys, sahin, xavi, iniesta, alonso etc.. they are a notch above. They spread the ball around with such quality and precision it's unbelievable. piggy is great, but in that area there are many that are better than him.

Re: Fabregas discussion
Lol, it's a bit obvious to me. Schweinsteiger i great because he is probably the most complete midfielder on the planet. He does everything.
Sahin is a natural playmaker, and as far as passing and playmaking goes, feeding the attack with brilliant through balls and such, he is quite better.

You mean oust khedira and eventually xabi
Sahin-Piggy-Ozil would be the midfield of the decade.
Or we could put trust in sami.
just to let u know that Shwein & Ozil get owned by Xaviniesta & Busq,
in WC 2010..
IMO Ozil + Sahin + Pure DM..
Give them time.. chemistry is the answer !!
They have the talent etc.. they just need time ..
1- Best thing Perez did this season, that he didn't change the Coach
2- Less transfers ==> more chemistry etc....
3- GIVE THEM TIME!
---------------------
About Cesc.. IMO he has the Potential to be Best Midfielder in the World in 2 years..
But the Problem is:
1- Xavi can play @ least 2,3 years until WC 2014 with Barca @ this leavel! (IMO)
2- We have Thiago & other youth coming through, they are all free & has the potential to make it in the first team..
Why would we pay 35-40M + Our Best talent(Thiago) for Cesc? When we still have Xavi & Thiago who could make it @ Barca..
Plus Cesc is injury prone..
IMO Barca should give Thiago the chance now, we still have Xavi.. According to Thiago's progress, we decide to buy Cesc or no in future ( maybe 2 years from now..)
Real Madrid? why would they buy Cesc? they have Ozil,Sahin, Canales, Sarabia... i think Schwein, YAYA, Cambiasso is great for u.. but offcourse i wish that YAYA won't ever join madrid

I don't usually comment in Real Madrid Section.. but i just wanted to give my opinion without trolling
