Was just looking at Playstation store in prep for PS4 to see what digital download prices are like.

The Last of Us was £39.99 but Black Ops 2 was £59.99

Activision you greedy bastards, looks a great game though hope they make it available on the PS4 in the future.

Tbf prices on the whole seem fair, its just some of the greedy publishers like Activision lol.

The reason i looked is i can't be arsed with the discs taking up space everywhere and come next gen i'll probably go solely digital.

On the whole it seems pretty mixed, Sony games prices seem fine then there is a middle ground of decent prices and then the greedy ones taking it too far.

Activision were charging 70 quid for MW3 when it came out. They are shameless

Yeah Sony's PSN game prices are pretty good. I mean new games are standard price here in the US(59.99), and depending on the game it will price drop to 49 or 39 after 2-3 months.

Only reason I don't really do it is because I have the original fat 40GB PS3, no space. No idea how it's even still working. WHenever I turn it on after a few minutes the fan maxes out and sounds like a plane taking off(I know the fix, needs a new layer of thermal paste but I can't be bothered). Just need it to last until the end of the year.

Tbh i shouldn't really care what Activision does really as the only PS4 game i will touch with a 10 foot poll that will be published by Activision is Destiny.

As long as they rest are decent i should be ok, if not i'll just have to make some space for some games they are going to take the piss for digitally.

I would. I already have a 1.5TB that's less than half full but I'd have to remove all that and format it to FAT. It's just a pain. Besides I can just get the games I want in person. The few games I have on my hard-drive are only on PSN like GTA San Andreas, Vice City. I do have a smaller NTFS drive that I can convert though.


With PS4 I'll probably buy 50% of my games digitally, maybe more.
