Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.II
Actually that's not the premise used in the article arqi. But it's a rumor and Higuain said similar things at Madrid 6 weeks ago when interviewed. What do you expect a player to say when interviewed? lol

Pardew is going to dutch classes during his summer holiday and has asked the backroom staff to stick "learn dutch" as the top objective for next season

I'm not really debating anything Sports. Just posting an intriguing message predicted by Red as he usually ends up on the right side of the prediction.
I'm never involved in these transfer semantics etc as its all a headache.
I just want him to stay.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.II
Arq, Red's comments aren't appropriate here. Sports' article didn't have a single quote out of context.
Granted, it didn't have a single quote or source at all, but why should that matter...

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.II
Liverpool interested in Jesus Navas according to Radio Marca Sevilla.

According to Calciomercato.com, Monaco’s next target is Ghanaian
international Boateng.
The club coached by Claudio Ranieri are willing to offer €12m to tempt Prince to Ligue 1 after his experiences in Serie A, the Premier League and Bundesliga.
This is just short of Milan’s €15m valuation for the versatile midfielder.

...There IS no premise used in the article. And players can say lots of things - look at Skrtel's recent quotes for a player politely indicating it was time to move on in public. Of course nothing is guaranteed and other situations have gone the other way in the past, but "I want to be here and move forward next season" isn't exactly ambiguous.

Maybe he should go to Coverciano and learn Association Football Tactics 101 instead of learning a language just to tell Vernon Anita to f**k off to the bench for Cheik Tiote

Juventus have made an official €7m bid to sign Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso, according to reports in the Italian press.
The 22-year-old has excelled in just his first season at Espanyol.
Wakaso has become an integral part of Javier Aguirre’s side – making 26 starts in the 30 games of the Blue and Whites this season in La Liga.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.II
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is eyeing Barcelona midfield pair Sergio Busquets and Thiago Alcantara.
El Confidencial says Florentino is determined to make a hostile raid on Barca after being angered by comments out of the Nou Camp aimed towards Jose Mourinho. The Real chief is also upset missing out on Neymar this week.
Real see Busquets as a replacement for Xabi Alonso, while Thiago can be signed this summer with his buyout clause an affordable €18 million.

Fiorentina have confirmed that forward Stevan Jovetic "wants a new experience" and that the club will do all they can to help him.
Jovetic is currently valued at €30m and has been linked in recent months to Juventus, Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
Sandro Mencucci, the club's general manager, said: "Jovetic wants a new experience and we'll try to make him happy, but only if a suitable offer comes in."

'Juve, forget Jovetic!'
“Juventus have to get over it. Stevan Jovetic is staying next season even with Giuseppe Rossi,” warned Fiorentina.
The surprise signing of Rossi from Villarreal for a reported €9m plus performance-related bonuses sparked speculation that he was a replacement for Jovetic.
“Juventus have to get over it,” smiled general manager Sandro Mencucci on Sky Sport Italia.
“Jovetic is staying next season even if Giuseppe Rossi has arrived.”
Rossi was in the stands of the Stadio Franchi today, though Fiorentina were beaten 2-0 by Pescara.

After these comments i'm actually convinced he wont leave IF Fiorentina qualify for the CL next season.I think ideally they would want to build on the foundation they have laid on their team rather than dismantle it by selling their best player.Fiorentina are no Udinese, they are not a selling club, you are going to be in for a pleasant surprise.
Arquitescu on Mon Jan 07, 2013 1:37 am
There's a difference though.
Villa was never gushing on and on about how much he leaves his club and didn't threaten his club like Jo Jo did if he were sold. Point is Jo Jo is being groomed as a future captain as his stance is clear.
Difference also is Valencia had to sell Villa while Fiorentina are under the Andrea Della Valle project who have spent copious amounts of cash onto a long term project involved closely with Vin Montella as their whole modus operandi and status indicate clearly that they have no need to sell Jovetic. Like Milan, Viola and Della Valle aren't a selling club as selling Jovetic just isn't very necessary for them.
Arquitescu on Mon Jan 07, 2013 1:48 am
Many owners may do this but it's clear you don't have the understanding of how Della Valle actually works along with the modus operandi of the club under Montella. Your prediction may come through but frankly I'm not seeing anything to indicate that it will except comparison to other owners, whereas Della Valle is quite different. He has kept all his promises to Montella and the fans. He is the closest thing to Urrutia or De Laurentis who say what they mean and if someone wants their players, he charges them big. At the moment, Jovetic is near priceless to them and thier excellent financial status doesn't indicate the need to sell. Fiorentina historically under the Della Valle family have always been like this.
Great Leader Sprucenuce on Mon Jan 07, 2013 1:28 am
Listening to what manager's, presidents etc etc say
They lie constantly, all that is good pr to please the fans and i would expect him to say that.
Doesn't mean shit, Valencia did the same with Villa and sold him 6 months later
Not like he's going to come out and say JOVETIC IS LEAVING !
I stand by what i said he's leaving in the summer and i will remind you of this quote when it happens
Great Leader Sprucenuce on Mon Jan 07, 2013 1:43 am
There's not really any difference tbh, all owners etc etc do this....
They all lie would you really expect him to say any different?
There's so many examples from clubs who are similar to Fiorentina it means absolutely nothing.
I can't believe you are taking so much from it tbh, clubs do this for PR reasons.
As he said its not like hes going to admit hes off in public it would put them in a weak position and negotiation suicide.
You wait and see he will leave in the summer.
