I will say no, because Manchester United, Madrid, and Milan are closing the gap. Arsenal and Man City can give them a run for their money too.

Also, there is little squad rotation from Guardiola; how long can the same 11 dominate?

Arsenal played their game and nearly won.

Madrid parked the bus and did win.

Barcelona will slip up eventually. They cannot win every match. They may win La Liga, the Copa del Rey, the Club World Cup, the European Supercup, Spanish Supercup, but I can't give them more than a 50% chance in the UCL.

Not too sure at the moment. Some club always steps up and beats Barcelona, in doing so, do very well.

I will agree though that to win the Champions League at present, one hast to beat Barcelona.

Look at the results from the 2005/06 season.

2006/07: Liverpool beat Barcelona on the way to the final before losing to AC Milan.

2007/08: Man United beat Barcelona in the semis before winning the final.

2008/09: Barcelona beat Man United in the final.

2009/10: Internazionale beat Barcelona in the semis before winning the final against Bayern Munich.

2010/11: Barcelona beat Man United in the final.

So there is definitely correlation between beating Barcelona and doing very well in the Champions League.

They aren't the 1st, Real Madrid won it 5 times in a row.

And I believe Real Madrid has a really good chance against them this season. We're way more prepared and we're also more comfortable against Barca.

Also, how long will it be before people realise it takes more than having the best squad to win the UCL? Things have to go your way, the draw has to be kind, you have to be lucky...

If Bojans goal would of counted against Inter last year (or if Militos goal was called offsides and Alves was given a PK), Barca could of now won it 3 times in a row

So yes, with more depth to the squad they might certainly have a chance to win it again this year

I am inclined to say no, simply because no one has done it (I mean CL not the one that RM won 5 times in a row when the historical and football circumstances were very different). Now, i think it is even more impossible, as a LOT of teams learned how to play Barca. We had a chance last year, and we lost it against Inter.

But you never know, a bit of luck in a draw and with a rested and bigger team it is possible.
