18 goals and 18 assists this season with 2500 mins only. 25+ goals last 2 seasons with Madrid. 25+ goals in all his pro seasons other than his first year at Madrid.

Add to that... 54 CL games in his career. 32 goals and 14 assists.

Its not about the goals and the assists bro don't get me wrong I don't say he is bad player but he tends often to *bleep* it up to damn much something we already have plus I dunno if he would be good in Italy..

If this is true I'm gonna run naked to Turin. He's a hell of a player and a personal favorite, I've been asking for him since his Lyon days !

Exact opposite. He's a big game player and tends to drift in easy games. This was not an issue at Lyon btw. He's a rhythm player and hasn't had enough regular minutes at Madrid this year to get into full throttle.

Had 32 goals and 15 assists last year. 18 goals and 18 assists this year and on his way to 20/20. Only players realistically looking at 20/20 in Europe are Messi and Mata this season.

You'd have to be crazy not to want Benz in your team. Such a great player. Would sign him in a heartbeat.

If we signed Benz for a decent price I'd be ecstatic.

Better than any of our forwards bar non.

Plus Benz - Llorente looks good to me.

With consistent game time and without a player like Cristiano to bend over for, you'll see the real Benzema.

a luxury signing in my opinion with llorente their we are set for a target striker if were gonna play 4-3-3 i dunno how we can accomodate him. we have more pressing concerns like the flanks

A dream signing for me. I've always rated Benzema so highly, incredible talent. Head and shoulders above all of Juventus' strikers combined

It's been pretty well reported that they'd be at the game.

Anyone who doesn't want Benz is crazy. I'd take him without a second thought to it.

Beggars can't be choosers and we've been begging for a top striker for a long time. And Llorente isn't enough. We need 3-4 high quality strikers to compete with the best. I'm tired of our group of strikers that wouldn't be starters for most top European clubs, except maybe Vucinic and that's not even a sure bet.

I'm not a massive fan or anything but his Age, talent and all that would be good for us. I think he could be great for us as so many French talents have such as Trezeguet, Platini, Thuram etc no need to list them to you guys.

Go for it, prefer him from Higuain by a long way.

I would prefer a SS,a player who likes to pass the ball...but can't refuse a world class like Benzema.

That's Karim. No way a 9/CF, very good with the ball at his feet, good with both feet, good passer, good vision, can play any position in attack, but his best is behind the striker.

Sorry but i don't see him as a pure SS...i have followed him a lot but i believe he is just a skilled CF able to control the ball...maybe he can prove me wrong if he plays SS (Not possible with Real atm.)

We'd be nuts if we turned this down. Juve have been looking so long for that top quality striker who can actually use his feet well, it'd be stupid to pass this up.

If you don't think Benz is a SS then you haven't watched him with your eyes open. I've followed him since Lyon. He's never comfortable playing off the ball and in the box, hence his bad air game. He's always looking to help the build up, link up and pass. Last 2 seasons, he's had 15 assists and 18 assists so far with Madrid.

A lot of us think he's being forced into the 9 spot by Mou. When he was bought, he was supposed to the replacement of Raul with Higuain playing ahead of him. Raul as in his role behind R9 and Ruud Van N. At Lyon, he was at his best outside the box with players like Fred, Govou, etc attacking the box off his passing and movement.

Really is the perfect player next to Llorente. Even in France NT, the normal lineup is now with Benz playing right behind Giroud.

I don't think that formation will happen, but Marchisio could very easily be the CAM that you have in that formation instead of Ozil (let's face it, Ozil isn't going to happen in a summer where we also buy a world class striker). Marchisio has already been playing as a SS lately. It wouldn't be that difficult to move him to a CAM type position. However, that formation would probably require Pogba and/or Vidal to play much deeper in defense.

What the poster above said + a proper vice Pirlo and we're set.

GK: Buffon - Leali (loan return) - Rubinho

CB: Barzagli, (Caceres) - Bonucci, (Marrone) - Chiellini (Peluso)

WB: Lichsteiner, (Isla) - Criscito, (De Ceglie)

MF: Vidal. (Pogba) - Pirlo, (Hernanes or Poli) - Marchisio (Asamoah)

SS: Benzema, (Giovinco)

CF: Llorente, (Vucinic)

Smaller roster, less scrubs, more functional and Asamoah can return at his natural position and provide more depth for the midfield.
