Miami Heat win streak continues...
So the heat basically just decied to spot the Cavs the 1st half. Turned it on in the second half, and never looked like losing.
Are they going to get the streak to 33? I kind of want them to, because it is exciting as hell. but part of me wants a 40 year record to stand (I hate the lakers, and never actually saw that team play, but still...).
The game in Chicago (according to 10,000 computer simulations) against the bulls has 41% chance for a loss.. i dont see the Bulls scoring enough to overcome the heats oppressing D and highpowered offense.
The next big game after that for them is the Spurs, which would be game 31 of the win streak. Now that, I can see a Heat loss there as IIRC its in San Antonio.
So, where do you think it will end? will they get 25? 30? 33? 34? 40? Streak to the title?
Im putting my money on the Spurs ending it.

It's all up to beating the Bulls and Spurs away, if they do that.. They will sweep the rest of the season IMO
The regular season has their attention now, they know they're playing for history

Re: Miami Heat win streak continues...
I dont think so.
All the games are too close, eventually they will lose one of these close ones.
And I dont think its up to the Spurs or Bulls, I think its very possible they lose to a weak team, or one with injuries..like they almost did to Orlando, almost lost to a Rondo and KG-less Celtics and almost lost to a Irving-less Cavs.

Yeah but their talent rises to the top usually. They had a scare against f*ing sacramento at home. Its hard to call. I really think when it comes down to it, it'll be San Antonio.
Although, it is very possible to be a weak team. Cavs almost had 'em

The Cavs were the only team that scared me during this streak so far.. Once the streak got going, I just felt they would always come back and win, including the Boston game
The Cavs were hitting EVERYTHING and the Heat had absolutely nothing until the third

I dunno Swagg, the Kings almost upset them.
The San Antonio game is going to be a good on, even if the streak isn't going anymore.

Agreed. But, the game was tight in regulation. Swagg are you a Heat fan?

I'm not a Heat fan, I don't support an NBA team like I do a football team (Real Madrid).. I ride with whatever team my favorite player (LeBron) is on
I used to live in Toronto, and I'm still close by, so if there is one team I like to see do well even if I don't like a player on their team at the time.. It's the Raptors

Nice... I do that with sports in general... but ofcourse I have my teams in juve and the Knicks... for a while I hated on lebron when he went to the heat... but I gave up and bowed to his greatness ... he's just to good and has. Too much swag to not recognize.
You think they r gunna win it all this year again?

Re: Miami Heat win streak continues...
Yeah I think they will win it, but of course anything can happen.. If they stay healthy, I don't see any team beating them
D-Wade's health is the X-factor IMO.. When he's at the top of his game, they're almost unstoppable since you know LeBon will always show up now (the 2010 final seems behind him now)

2010 is definitely behind Lebron. Wade's health is definitely going to be huge. I was reading earlier posts in this thread where people were saying they need to trade Wade. Im not so sure they would be even close to where they are now w/o him.
@Devi: Im with you, its gonna be the Spurs.
@El Gunner: next match is the Bulls?

Wade is shit when he's not healthy, but so are a lot of players lol.. As long as his knees are fine, he's still a top player in the league

Are you a fellow New Yorker?
I honestly can not imagine anyone outside of New York deciding to support the Knicks.

Man Miami really should stop leaving it late. One of these little teams will end their streak sooner rather than later if they keep doing this.

Re: Miami Heat win streak continues...
So the streak looks like it is set to continue today as the Heat play the Magic tonight in the Florida Derby.
I really think the Magic are gunna get ramrodded tonight. The Magic have only won 7 of their last 24 games. Pretty awful.
Or perhaps they show up today, and stun the world.

Re: Miami Heat win streak continues...
The Heat tend to have a tough time with the Magic.. It may be close
My boy who is a Heat fan (really he is), said the odds are like 10-1 for the Magic to win.. He's contemplating betting on them.. I can't do that, I would feel like a traitor lol
