Yes Arq you are.... right now Italy seem to be more of a settled team who have a set plan and system in mind.

Brazil right now look like a team of individuals with no real pattern of play.

Seriously. DDR for Italia is better than even Pirlo,Buffon, etc for us. When he wears the Azzuri colours, he performs how he does in the big games for Roma in which his presence and dominance is unstoppable.

Was absolutely amazing today. Defence, passing, oh... and even the goal.

Brazil need more time as such is the ambition behind there ideas, I guess.

As for Italia? Knowing Prandelli he'll scrap this system, spit it out and rework it right before the euros. I'm convinced he is diagnosed with OCD.

But...the foundation and groundwork is prevalent and shone through.

His in game changes what was most impressive.

Italy were the better side. Hats off to them. Our defense was in shambles and there is still a lot of work to be done.

MDS has a great future ahead of him even thou he made a mistake leading to a (2nd goal) and had a part for this first one ( never should have let his man even thou Monto is to blame to) he will be great player he is still learning but boy I adore that guy.

Experimental Italy played really really well, I knew that Balo will score some wonder goal I had that feeling lol while watching the game on sopcast.
Neymar disappeared whole second half but its just frienly I tihnk that when he moves to bigger EU club he will get his stamina and running up.

Agreed. MDS goal aside was excellent in attack and defence. Diamanti played as a TQ but I disagree on Giacch as he doesn't have the movement of a TQ.


This game was a testament to how important Marchisio is for Italia in his midfield dominance, all round play and stats that reflect his accurate passing and shots for italia. It was a blow to the heart when I saw him out.

Marchisio missed this game ,Pirlo played only 45 mins.Good to see some of the important Juventus players getting rest

I'm noting on how much he was needed for his general play and passing for which is overlooked for La Nazionale. With him, I'm sure we would have been better in the midfield.

I think Giach was more of a CM with Attacking orders because sometimes he was dropping in our half defending. In some cases he was more of an AM his ball distribution and created chances was excellent.

Marchisio and De Rossi is definitly the midfield duo that we need. And im glad that Prandelli knows this. Remember Marchisio the SS under Lippi v2.0

That being said, I think marchisio can, now, slot into that more attacking role and support the attack more if De Rossi is going to continue this form for the la nazionale.

Overall, this was a promising display. i am excited. ES getting more polished IMO will be the last piece of the puzzle

ive seen, and Ive liked. TBH now though the national team overall just plays better for prandelli than they did for Lippi in 2010. They know their roles and the players compliment eachother much better now.

I am a bit sad for matri seriously, gilardino encora...

It was troubling to see as Montolivo and Pirlo don't exactly compliment each other, while Marchisio in his partnership with DDR is something to behold. Its more of an intangible way of measuring his performance (despite his obvious stats) in how much better we look WITH him on. I hope he recovers well, along with DDR to.

I'm proud of the performance as a whole despite Cesare driving me up the wall with his OCD experimentation/perfectionism plan echoing Trappatonni for us as he has less time then he thinks before settling on his basic groundwork to which has found success, but needs conviction.

Gila himself is on form as usually turns it up for Italia in goals and general play to which he plays a supporting role, highlighting his underrated passing abilities. Matri? I agree as he deserved to be called up and his clutch ability might have made the difference.

Osvaldo was showing bouts of skill but couldn't combine with Balo and was just taking up his space. It slowed down the end of the final third with his calculative but all too slow movement in which almost frustrated Balo. Looked much better on with SES supporting Balo.

But I'm glad we made the comeback, Father . It brought great joy to me in seeing us 2-2 after the devastating feeling of being 2-0 down while the Brazilians laughed.
