No the problem wasn't that. Modric did great imo. we missed 3 one on ones before we conceded the first goal.

players just didn't play in second half. something like Bayern vs Arsenal in Alianz.

it's a huge problem we can focus for full 90 minutes.

and Arbeloa is shite.

First half we did well defensively, however Galatasaray improved in terms of attacking 2nd half and tested us.

However we usually do have problems when we just sit back.

Men we clearly weren't taking the game as seriously as we should have but I never felt like we were at risk of going out.

Ramos is better than Pepe IMO, and the perfect fit for Varane. Rafa just feels better with Sergio alongside him.

as soon as arbeloa came on the pitch for essien things got worst.

now i'm not putting the blame for this performance on him, but he pulls the defense apart and i think he confuses the central defenders, at least in this game.

plus i just dont like him as a player.

he needs to focus on defending properly, he is always fouling players and taking chances. positional, he is a mess.

this may seem bias, but it the truth.

first half was zzzzz the second half we totalpy collapsed

everybody bar essien, dimaria and diego lopez should hang their heads in shame

we had started a massive self destruction lucky that Ronaldo had scored that first goal or gala would have gone through

I think most part of the game was okay, strong until the 1st goal then somewhat average after that, and we're not exactly need more than that to get through, but the part in 2nd half when we started leaking goals was concerning at this stage.

i dont know why mou is still playing higgy in CL, no matter if he score a hattric in previous game, he never performs in cl, benz did more then him in 10/15 min.

Di magia is as headless as ever, cant make a single pass. Hope we sign neymar/gotze in the summer.

Varane for the first time had an poor to average game.

Coentrao wasnt at foult for both goals, stop blaming him for everything just because u like marcelo. i like marcelo too.
