How do you rate Yilmaz? Empty How do you rate Yilmaz?

I think highly of him but when I watch him play for Galatasaray ( so rare occasions), I get the impression he's a Osvaldo-ish (Mancini-ish, Menez-ish) type of character

He's a pretty big Forward with alot of eye for goal. Osvaldo's is a good comparison methinks. Thing is he's younger than Osvaldo and thus has more potential to improve.

A good Forward to have on any team.

Bro you do know Osvaldo is younger than him right?? Yilmaz is 27. He's a late bloomer.

He's not a late bloomer. I take that back. He was used as a winger up until 2010 when he joined Tranbzanspor. That's where he actually started playing to his strengths and started beasting as a ST. I'm pretty sure had one of his coaches seen that he's a natural striker before he was 25, he would been long considered a good striker.

Everyones eyes have been on Sneijder and Drogba, but surprisingly Yilmaz is getting all plaudits. I'll definitely try and keep my eye on him. Didn't even know who he was before his goal against Schalke in the first leg. Shocked
