Napoli-Juve
Basically if Juve wins this then the title is all wrapped up, if the lose the gap goes back to 3 points with Napoli.
****Juve didn't win a game at Stadia San Paolo since the year 2000
****Napoli with 3 goals in their last 6 games, 4 of which they failed to score.
****Cavani didn't score in his last 4 games, longest period since 2011.
****Gamberini out for the game.
**** Diego Armando Maradona will attend this game, can't wait to see the atmosphere.
Predictions: 3-1 Napoli win.

Re: Napoli-Juve
Napoli is in quite horrible form but no doubt they'll be up for this game. San Paolo is such a tough place to play too.
Predicting a 2-1 Juventus win but that might be hope/biased based

Re: Napoli-Juve
Napoli will simply never have a better chance to clinch the Scudetto, though I can foresee them developing a more balanced team in the future, and we'll see just how capable this side is of achieving that dream in a few hours. Whilst Napoli aren't entering during a positive run of form, I expect this match to feel like a derby where form goes out of the window.
At the same time, concentrating too much on this clash can be poisonous given that league battles are truly wars of attrition, which aren't settled on even the grandest of battlefields. What will be of absolute importance is the confidence that each side gains from this encounter. Even a draw could be important psychologically depending on the manner in which it is gained. A last minute equaliser tends to make games like these feel like defeats.
Even though this will see the two best defences statistically meet, there has always been a significant question mark over the quality of Napoli's backline, however against a typically profligate Juventus attack, Napoli may be able to edge this encounter by being the more clinical side. I expect the duels of the wingbacks to be crucial in deciding the balance of the game. Each side relies heavily on the width and penetration provided by the likes of Lichsteiner/Asamoah and Maggio/Zuniga - Armero, whilst the superior LWB is still settling into the side - and I would expect the side which gets the most out of these battles to clinch three points.
Emotions are going to run high in this match and Marchisio in particular I feel will be a target for his comments earlier in the season. Expect him to be sent three feet in the air during the first five minutes of the match, it's about the only solid prediction that can be made about this match. Juventus are the better side, however Napoli have the San Paolo and the motivation of a golden chance to strike a moral blow in the scudetto race. Hopefully Mazzari plays Insigne tonight, I have a feeling he'll turn in a terrific performance if trusted from the start. Let's do this.

Cavani should've been off for that elbow, if I'm honest.

Re: Napoli-Juve
^ Not really. Napoli did in the second half exactly what Juve did in the first.
Draw was fair enough. But Juve should've really pushed instead of settling for a draw in the second half. Would've killed the league.

Re: Napoli-Juve
Really, the game should've been over in the first 30 minutes strictly speaking.Unfortunately pathetic finishing let us down once again.
Although before the game if you'd ask me if i'd take home a draw,i would've definitely taken it.We could've won this game and put the title race to bed but we failed to capitalize.Still a sizeable lead we have and i dont see giving up this lead even with CL commitments in my opinion.

“Napoli were much more careful after the break, sitting back and leaving us possession in midfield so they could attack the space. Inevitably you have to calculate the options in these games, as there was no need to go crazy on the attack or run unnecessary risks. I consider that a show of maturity from the lads.”
Conte was asked about the tussle between Giorgio Chiellini and Edinson Cavani. The defender pulled his hair and the striker reacted with an elbow to the face.
“Giorgio is seeing if Cavani has hair gel in… As for the elbow, the footage is there and everyone can make their own judgement on it. These situations happen in a tense game and you judge for yourselves.”
