these two list are very good, big fan of camacho and aspas. i dont know what kind of recognition camacho gets in Spain, but it seems to be that he is playing at a higher level and with more consistency than Mario Suarez who was recently called up with Spain NT.

The Frankfurt-five, just got promoted, still going strong in the Bundesliga:
Sebastian Jung (young RB, Germany), Sebastian Rode (young CM, Germany), Alex Meier (29yo CAM/SS, Germany), Takashi Inui (24yo LM, Japan) and Stefan Eigner (25yo RM, Germany) all having a great season, still sitting in 4th after the promotion.

Especially Jung and Rode are going places imho, they're both only 22, and CMs and FBs are always needed wherever, I'm afraid we won't be able to keep either, come summer.

I may be a little biased, but might even say Gerrard. He's having a much better season than the last couple of seasons. 8 goals and 12 assists in the league, he is on his way to have one of his best ever Premier League campaigns, yet you don't hear that getting mentioned much.

No chance. Even though Montoya and Mallo are good, talented RBs, Carjaval is way better.

How about Wes Hoolahan from Norwich?

Lallana is a decent shout, although his injury disrupted his season a bit.


I wonder would mentioning Aaron Lennon be pushing it... He's not doing bad at all but has been overshadowed especially by Bale, but also by the talk about Dempsey and Tottenham's strikers.

On a side note, maybe clubs should beware buying these Swansea players who can perform only in Wales... Allen to Liverpool and Sigurdsson to Tottenham, probably among the top-10 flops of the season.

Perhaps he isn't exactly under the radar, but I think his performances have been.

Lennon's been one of the best wingers in the EPL this season and has been consistently very good in the past as well, albeit perhaps inconsistent. As he has been at times in this season.

Still, people talk about Walcott all the time, IMO Lennon is just as good and I'd personally take Lennon over Walcott any day.

I think I might have to agree with you on this.. due to early Theo hype - I think Lennon slips under the radar a bit in comparison.

Pepe is discussed plenty... it's just that normally the discussions are centered around his unsportsmanlike conduct more than his abilities; a bit like Suarez (though being an attacking player Suarez gets a good amount of positive attention as well).

Imagine the hate on a team if both Pepe and Suarez played in it.
