Tragic injury for a rival that I have always greatly respected, he's a majestic forward and I hope that when he returns he can finish his career on his terms, still scoring great goals.

Needless to say, this is a huge blow for Inter and it will be interesting to see whether they once more struggle without him, or whether Stramaccioni has now learnt from his mistakes during his previous injury lay off.

Milito was always a well respected and classy player. I think he is still pivotal for Inter, even with Palacio and Cassano doing quite well. At least he won't be there to exploit Abate in the derby.

Longo is on loan at Espanyol and Livaja left in January as well. Presumably Strama will stick with Palacio through the centre, however it is possible that Alvarez will get one last chance to supplement the attack. They can't go with just one or two attackers anymore.

horrible injury. Im really concerned that this could be the end of his career. Inter will really struggle without him seeing how we rely on his movement to open up spaced up front.

He's actually at espanyol on loan. It's not going very well for him so far in there

Sad, very sad. I always respected and liked Milito. I think his career at top level is over, he ain't exactly young. I hope he can bounce back, would have liked to see him play at the World Cup.
