Modric however What a performance son
Hardly anything to rave about when United are playing with a man down.

Re: Manchester United vs Real Madrid discussion
Its madrid's fault the red was pulled? madrid somehow made nani karate kick arbeloa and forced the ref to show a red card.

Re: Manchester United vs Real Madrid discussion
Wow never knew that kicking another player in the chest isn't a red card.
Re: Manchester United vs Real Madrid discussion
I sympathise with United fans, I really do. A poor referee decision deciding a match is always a punch to the guy... but as many of you are so fond of telling clubs that come to OT and lose to a penalty or a red card, luck is a part of the game and referees are only human. United have seen plenty of decisions go their way in recent years; this time the decision didn't. The best thing to do is accept it, move on, and focus on the other two trophies.

Re: Manchester United vs Real Madrid discussion
Naah, no way in hell it was a red. United were robbed. Madrid would have conceded more and wouldn't have scored if United had 11 men on the pitch.

Re: Manchester United vs Real Madrid discussion
it was a clear red, I take back anything I said about it earlier, I rewatched it and I would have done the same decision in a Barca game ffs
Watch it at 101greatgoals.com
It's a kick to chest = Kick to the chest customary red card. This is football not kung fu fighting

respect to united and their fans who continue to stick with them. seriously unfortunate events. a red card that should not have been, and a lot of quality chances disallowed by lopez who was fantastic.

Although I believe it should have been a yellow, Nani kicked a player in the chest. I can understand the red card.

Re: Manchester United vs Real Madrid discussion
It's important to not forget that we were robbed of a goal aswell though. Higuains goal should have stood...
Anyway, I could understand the Man U fans frustrations. They were deservedly up 1 nil the first half. We were completly dominated, but I understand the ref for giving the red card.
Nani did kung fu kick Arbeloa, and that is a red card in the referee book.

Re: Manchester United vs Real Madrid discussion
Absolute disgrace from Man Utd and commentators. Ferguson yelled at the ref "Your shit", Ferdinand sarcastically clapping in the ref's face, even Giggs screaming. Absolute disgrace.
Speaking of commentators, when Diego Lopez dived the commentator said :What a disgrace when you see this in football." When Evra dived deliberately in the box, the commentator said, "Well you know all the big calls have been going Madrids way." I can no longer watch Anglo-English commentators ever. It's awful.

Completely irrelevant. Nani deserved a red.
Will Mourinho send this Turk to retirement as well?
It was worse than Overbo.
Feel for Sir Alex. English football has been robbed.
