Not true CB that is a massive myth....
They are very rarely in the top 6, majority of Moyes time they have been 7th or below.

Re: Was Cazorla moving to Arsenal a mistake?
Fair enough in regards to the last 3 seasons (8,7,7), but before that it was 6,5,5 as well.
Still, that shows that since 05, David Moyes has guided Everton to a top 8 finish every year except 1 (finished 11th in 05-06). Among those are a fourth place finish, two fifth place finishes, and a sixth place finish.
I think it's fair enough to admit that maybe they really are outperforming themselves a good amount this season, and I can concede that point. But the larger issue here is his point about how many problems they'll have, and with the finishes Moyes and Everton have had, and with how they have been performing this season, if they can keep their best players I hardly doubt they will have many more problems.

Tbf they should be in the top 8 but if they finish 5th or above its a similar success story to us last season.
I maintain that we had the players that meant we should have been top 8 as do Everton so thats about where they should expect to be and any higher is a bonus.
I also maintain we should be there this season, but lets not go into that

This can't be a real thread. He plays for Arsenal. Let me repeat myself; HE PLAYS FOR THE MOTHER******* ARSENAL.

Re: Was Cazorla moving to Arsenal a mistake?
Are you for real? he made a mistake? he plays for one of the biggest clubs in the world. He is known world wide now.
"It was a very important decision, to change teams," he added. "It is a new challenge, it is a completely new adventure from the start, you have to start from zero, aside from the fact of going into a different culture, a new league, a new language. But I think that with Arsenal, I was offered an opportunity that I could not turn down, being 27 years old [at the time], it was like a train that I had to take, and I am very satisfied.
"I am learning a lot, I am adapting more and more as days go by, and my aim is to learn the English game, and hopefully I will spend some good years at this club. I really enjoy the league, the atmosphere at the stadiums, the respect of the people, their kindness, it is incredible."

He turned down Madrid, of course it was a mistake. He'd have walked into that side the way do Maria is playing

madrid never made a formal offer, it was just rumors. cazorla made the right choice. more exposure, getting paid the full amount, playing very well id say thats pretty positive.

Are Malaga not banned for playing in Europe for 5 seasons or something ridiculous like that?

Re: Was Cazorla moving to Arsenal a mistake?
I would fancy Malaga to wipe the floor with Arsenal if they played now. It's funny that people say Wenger has a attacking philosophy but bottles it when he plays us,they didn't even have 1 shot against us in the 2nd leg of the round of 16 in 2011. An all time record by the way.
Pelligrinis teams play much better football as he is a much better tactician, unlike Wenger he can make train his team to press as a team.Pelligrinis teams are much more fluid in possession as well, the front 5 and sometimes full backs as well always interchanging positions when attacking makes them incredibly hard to stifle.

Yea because Arsena-Barca was only a one legged affair and Wenger's attacking philosophy was only reliant on one match right ?
Stop trolling, consider this as a first and final warning

Re: Was Cazorla moving to Arsenal a mistake?
So I am not allowed to say Malaga is better than Arsenal or Pelligrini is a better manager than Wenger? Point was it doesn't matter who Pelligrni plays he won't sacrifice his philopshohy like Wenger did in that game.In that game I was talking about Arsenal had 9 men on the edge of their box,a line of 4 and 5 for the whole first half until they needed to score. They parked the bus and thus didn't have one shot in the whole game.I can't imagine Pellgrini ever playing like that.

Why are Malaga better? Because they lose in more convincing fashion?
