Either marcelo or higuain if either of them plays.

that would be kate upton.

@donuts- no marcelo hasnt played a full match

@sanchez - as far as captains goes. since it looks like iker, ramos, pepe, higgy, and marcelo will be out (most likely) unfortunately ronaldo will be captain. how odd.

since madrid goes off the seniority system i dont think he ever has because he is about 8th in the list

iker, ramos, pepe, higgy, marcelo (might be marcelo before higgy), ronaldo, kaka, then xabi

i think, this is just off the top of my head. and i am pretty drunk.

There's around 4 weeks in a month, and wasn't 12 weeks an optimistic figure?

Should we start taking bets on what happens first?

Mou gets axed or Iker returns to starting line up?

Ramos will be back to captain when his suspension ends. Till then I expect Higgy or Marcelo to be captain if they start of course. Otherwise it'll probably be Ronaldo.

Generally speaking, captains have motivational speeches in the locker room and they have authority in front of their teammates. They are leaders on the pitch and well-gifted with the power of transmitting to their teammates in crucial and hard times, the necessary motivation to win a game.

Can Higuain be this kind of player? Smile

Higuain is a huge presence in the locker room. The guy oozes a winners mentality. His never-say-die attitude and passion for the shirt only lifts his team mates. Plus he's one of the senior members of the squad. I think we'll be fine until Ramos is able to play.

Ramos is available for the Getafe match, he'll have to serve the last of his 5 match ban in the Copa Del Rey, which happens to be the first leg against Barcelona.

Ramos seems like the worst person to have as captain. Not a leader of men. Generally comes off as a bully, throwing fits, and being an ass and is inconstant on the pitch. Basically everything you don't want out of a guy leading and speaking for your team on the pitch.

That's what I feel as well. Mind you, most of the players mentioned tend to do these sort of elements as well. Casillas is their only leader in which only Alonso seems to be only player that can be suited as a captain.

Ramos may come off as a bully but he is one of those guys who just wont give up. I still remember the 6-2 game in which we were 3-1 down at ht and it was ramos who was doing the attacking and brought us to 6-2 and kept urging his teammates on. The guy literally bleeds for the shirt and hates to lose. There is a reason why puyol and maldini called him their heir
